摘要: Fuel mixed in water is combusted in a reactor having an internal operating pressure and temperature greater than 3200 psi and greater than 374° C., where the combustion of the fuel is exothermic. Air and fuel are pressurized for introduction into the reactor to a pressure greater than the internal operating pressure using energy generated from the combustion of the fuel, and the pressurized air and the pressurized fuel are injected into the reactor. Pressurized water from the reactor is injected into a drive water column that is partially filled with water to increase a pressure of the drive water column, and water at a temperature less than 100° C. is injected into the reactor to replace water from the reactor that is injected into the drive water column. Pressurized water from the drive water column is used to drive a hydroelectric drive system to produce electrical power.

摘要: A hydro-kinetic power generation system is disclosed. The system includes a structure to be positioned in shallow or deep waterways, such as canals and rivers. The structure may be modular, such that the structure may be composed of one or more structural units that are each substantially the same. In various embodiments, each unit includes one or more curved walls for accelerating water through the unit, or through the structure as a whole. In one embodiment, the accelerator walls are curved for optimizing water flow through the structure without generating undue head loss. In certain embodiments, the units may be configured such that the accelerator walls are positioned on opposite sides of the structure, or the accelerator walls may be adjacently positioned. Coupled to the structure are turbines and gear box systems for harnessing energy from the moving water and converting the energy into electric power.

摘要: System and method for controlling operation of a hydroelectric production system comprising electrical actuators operably connected at opposite positions of a gate operating ring for rotating the wicket gates to a desired position. The system receives a single control signal designed for a hydraulic system comprising hydraulic actuators operably connected to a single fluid reservoir and configured to work in tandem to produce simultaneous and opposite axial movements. The system comprises a control interface adapted to produce new control signals, each new signal being intended to a different electrical actuator to cause the electrical actuators to have axial movements which are identical in speed and in opposite directions to substantially imitate the exact movement of the hydraulic actuators onto the gate operating ring. The system is configured to introduce a dampening effect to reduce sudden acceleration and deceleration which is purposely used in hydraulic systems to overcome friction and static effects.

摘要: A vehicular fluid power transmitting device includes a pump impeller, a turbine runner, a damper device, a set member, and a centering member. The pump impeller has a pump shell to which torque from a drive source is input. The damper device has a damper input member and a damper output member. The damper input member is connected to an output shaft of the drive source. The damper output member is connected to the pump shell. The set member is fixed to the pump shell, and is connected to the damper output member. Also, the centering member is provided protruding toward the pump shell from the output shaft of the drive source, and is fitted together with the damper input member.

The variable concentrator can be adjustable between a first position and a second position, the variable concentrator being capable of deflecting more wind toward the turbine in the first position than in the second position.

Waste water is propelled through the sewer line by pumping equipment which simultaneously pulverizes most large objects carried by the waste water. The waste water drives one or more water-operated turbines. The turbines are operatively connected to electrical power generators for producing electrical power and dispersing the power through an electrical power transmission system.
