    摘要: Retraction of a landing gear assembly on an aircraft is actuated by a hydraulic actuator. The actuator includes a piston that travels within a cylinder along a stroke length between a first position corresponding to the landing gear assembly when extended and a second position corresponding to the landing gear assembly when retracted. The movement of the piston along its stroke length is snubbed at one end by a different amount according to the direction of travel, for example by use of an orifice plate that has a discharge coefficient that is greater in one direction than in the opposite direction. Asymmetric snubbing is thus provided, which enables the landing gear to retract faster.

    摘要: A drain flushing system includes an HVAC unit. A drain is coupled to the HVAC unit such that the drain line may drain condensation from the HVAC unit. A flush line is fluidly coupled to the drain. The flush line is fluidly coupled to a fluid source thereby facilitating the flush line to selectively introduce a fluid into the drain such that the drain is cleaned. A control is coupled to the drain and the flush line. The control is operationally coupled to the drain and the flush line such that the control selectively actuates the flush line to introduce the fluid into the drain.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a heat transfer tube and a racking furnace using the heat transfer tube. The heat transfer tube comprises a twisted baffle arranged in an inner wall of the tube, said twisted baffle extending spirally along an axial direction of the heat transfer tube. The twisted baffle defines a closed circle viewed from an end of the heat transfer tube. Along the trajectory of the circle a casing is arranged, which is fixedly connected to a radial inner end of the twisted baffle. The twisted baffle is provided with a plurality of holes. The heat transfer tube according to the present disclosure has a good heat transfer effect and small pressure loss.

    摘要: A duct is configured for a vehicle having a vehicle body arranged along a longitudinal body axis. The vehicle body includes a first vehicle body end configured to face oncoming ambient airflow when the vehicle is in motion, a second vehicle body end opposite of the first vehicle body end. The duct has a fully-enclosed structure in a cross-sectional view perpendicular to the longitudinal body axis. The duct also has a first port positioned to receive a portion of the oncoming airflow and a second port positioned to exhaust the portion of the oncoming airflow from the duct. The first and second ports together with the fully-enclosed structure are configured to generate an aerodynamic downforce on the vehicle body when the vehicle is in motion.
