    Abstract: In a drive unit attached to a vehicle-body frame of an electric-motor-assisted bicycle including a one-way clutch including an outer member, an inner member, a plurality of clutch lugs, a plurality of springs, and a plurality of pins. Clutch teeth are located on one of an inner peripheral portion of the outer member and an outer peripheral portion of the inner member. The clutch lugs and the springs are located on the other of the inner peripheral portion and the outer peripheral portion. A number of the clutch lugs is an even number not smaller than four. A number of the clutch teeth is an even number that is not a multiple of the number of the clutch lugs. A number of the springs is half the number of clutch lugs. Each spring exerts a biasing force on two of the clutch lugs that are circumferentially adjacent. Each pin is in contact with one of the springs.

    Abstract: A decoupler is provided for rotationally driving a generator of an auxiliary-unit belt drive of an internal combustion engine, including: a pulley, a hub, and two bearing points, at which the pulley is rotatably supported on the hub, a series arrangement of a helical torsion spring and a one-way clutch, which allows the hub to overtake the pulley, and a spring plate, which is rotationally fixed in relation to the pulley or the hub, for the one spring end and a spring plate, which can be rotated in relation to the pulley and the hub, for the other spring end. The spring ends, which lie against ramp steps of the spring plates, radially expand the helical torsion spring as the driving torque is transmitted. The frictional torque, produced in one of the bearing points when the hub is overtaking, acts on the rotatable spring plate in a direction of rotation of the rotationally fixed spring plate. The other bearing point, according to the invention, has a part that is rotationally fixed in relation to the rotationally fixed spring plate, on which part the rotatable spring plate is supported, a further frictional torque thus being produced, which acts on the rotatable spring plate in the direction of rotation of the rotationally fixed spring plate.

    Abstract: A split type cage includes: a pair of annular portions including recess portions formed on an inner periphery side at intervals in a circumferential direction; and a pillar portion which includes pillar end portions on both end sides in an axial direction and fitted in the recess portions, and on which a reaction toward an other side in the circumferential direction acts. The recess portion includes a wedge-shaped surface forming a wedge-shaped space, which becomes narrower in a radial direction toward the other side in the circumferential direction, between the wedge-shaped surface and an outer peripheral surface of an inner ring. The pillar end portion has a wedge shape in which a radial dimension decreases toward the other side in the circumferential direction, and includes a radial outside surface contacting the wedge-shaped surface and a radial inside surface contacting the outer peripheral surface of the inner ring.

    Abstract: A one-way clutch is disclosed, which improves durability while reducing a drag torque and restraining burning of a block bearing. The one-way clutch includes: a torque transfer mechanism disposed between an outer race 2 and an inner race 3 so disposed in the outer race 2 as to be spaced inwardly in a diametrical direction, and hindering the outer race 2 and the inner race 3 from making a relative rotation in a predetermined direction; and block bearings 6 disposed between the outer race 2 and the inner race 3 together with the torque transfer mechanism, and keeping the outer race 2 and the inner race 3 in a concentric state, in which each block bearing has a slide surface 6f contiguous with an axis-directional surface of the outer race 2 or the inner race 3, and at least part of the slide surface 6f is a roughened surface.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a freewheel (4) comprising a first race (38), a second race (40), a clamping gap (46) designed between the first and second race (38, 40), at least one clamping element (48) in the clamping gap (46), and biasing means (64) for biasing the clamping element (48) into a clamping position within the clamping gap (46), wherein the biasing means (64) have an accordion spring (66), which is supported directly or indirectly on the first race (38) and which comprises corrugation peaks (70) lying radially outward, corrugation troughs (72) lying radially inward, and a support leg (76) for direct or indirect support on the clamping element (48). In addition, the present invention relates to a freewheel arrangement (2) comprising such a freewheel (4).

    Abstract: A one-way transmission module includes an external ring, an internal ring and catch units. The external ring includes a non-circular external face for engagement with an internal face of a hub or a flywheel-bearing drum.
