    摘要: A clutch assembly is disclosed that includes a hub, a damper and a pre-damper. A first pre-damper side plate is adjacent the damper and a second pre-damper side plate has a lug that extends radially outwardly and axially across the intermediate plate and the first pre-damper plate toward a first side plate of the damper that is adjacent the pre-damper. The lug is received in a notch defined by the first side plate of the damper to prevent relative rotation between the first side plate of the damper and the pre-damper. A method is disclosed for assembling the pre-damper and the damper on a hub. The pre-damper includes a radially and axially extending lug that is assembled to the notch in the damper to prevent relative rotation between the damper and the pre-damper.

    摘要: A hydrokinetic torque coupling device for a motor vehicle comprises an impeller wheel intended to be coupled to a crankshaft and adapted to hydrokinetically rotate a turbine wheel. The impeller wheel rotationally coupled to a cover at least partially accommodating the impeller wheel, the turbine wheel and the reactor. The turbine wheel is axially moves between an engaged position in which the turbine wheel and the impeller wheel are axially moved closer to each other and rotationally coupled together, and a disengaged position in which the turbine wheel and the impeller wheel are axially moved away from each other and rotationally uncoupled. The device comprises a bracing member axially extending between the turbine wheel and a part of the cover, with the bracing member being adapted to limit the axial motion of the turbine wheel toward the above-mentioned part of the cover, opposite the turbine wheel.

    摘要: In an aspect, a clutched device is provided, including a hub, a pulley and a roller clutch. The roller clutch includes at least one roller and a cage. The roller is engageable with a first engagement surface operatively associated with the hub and is engageable with a second engagement surface operatively associated with the pulley. The cage is movable between a first position in which torque is transferrable from one of the hub and the pulley to the other of the hub and the pulley through the roller clutch and the isolation spring. The other of the hub and the pulley is permitted to overrun said one of the hub and the pulley, and a second position in which torque is transferred from said other of the hub and the pulley to the one of the hub and the pulley through the roller clutch.

    摘要: A vibratory compaction roller has a pretensioning mechanism that exerts a pretension or biasing force between the drum and the motor housing that inhibits relative axial movement between the output shaft of each drive motor and the associated motor housing, thus significantly reducing the generation of noise that would otherwise be created during machine operation. The pretensioning mechanism may take the form of one or more springs positioned between the drum and a drum support that also supports the motor. Bushings are provided between the springs and the drum to accommodate rotational motion between each spring and the drum. Alternatively, the pretensioning mechanism may be provided on a side of the drum opposite the motor and may pull the drum away from the motor.
