    摘要: A rotation and extension/retraction link mechanism which realizes a rotary joint having a virtual rotation axis is provided. A rotation and extension/retraction link mechanism 1 is configured so that a first link 5 having a first virtual center line 3 and a second link 9 having a second virtual center line 7 are coupled through a rotation and extension/retraction joint mechanism 11. The rotation and extension/retraction joint mechanism 11 is configured to couple the first link 5 and the second link 9 so that when the second virtual center line 7 rotates relative to the first virtual center line 3 from a state where the first virtual center line 3 entirely overlaps with the second virtual center line 7, while crossing the first virtual center line 3, an intersection between the first virtual center line 3 and the second virtual center line 7 is displaced on the first virtual center line 3 by a predetermined distance corresponding to an angle of the rotation.

    摘要: A reciprocal force outputting mechanism having a body having a slide slot that contains a slide block, thereby providing for the linear, reciprocal movement of the slide block within the slide slot. The slide block has an elongated opening formed centrally and a row of teeth are disposed along each of the two facing sides the said elongated opening, with a stem extending from one end of the said slide block inserted through a guide hole of the body. A fan-shaped gear is secured onto a power output shaft that rotates it. When the fan-shaped gear revolves and its teeth are respectively enmeshed with a row of teeth, the slide block is brought into reciprocal motion, causing the reciprocal movement of the stem which serves as a means of outputting force.

    摘要: The present invention provides an improved drive mechanism for reciprocating engines primary adapted for converting reciprocating motion of a piston within a cylinder to rotary motion which includes a piston and piston leg assembly which moves solely axially within the piston chamber with two rack gear members secured to the sides of the piston leg. A power driveshaft and an idler driveshaft are positioned on opposite sides of the movable piston leg and include a plurality of gears thereon positioned adjacent to each piston chamber for receiving driving movement therefrom. This longitudinal movement of the piston is converted to rotational movement of the shaft through the rack gears and power and idler gears which are connected to the power driveshaft and the idler driveshaft through a unique configuration including clutch bearings adapted to convey power driving movement responsive to movement of the pistons toward the crankshaft and to be freewheeling during movement of the pistons away from the crankshaft. The power driveshaft and idler driveshaft are mounted parallel with respect to one another and are interconnected by drive gears. Power output is provided at the power driveshaft rather than at the crankshaft in a more conventional reciprocating piston engine configuration.

    摘要: A motion converting mechanism wherein two sets of one-way clutch mechanisms are added to a mechanism for converting a rectilinear reciprocating motion into a rotary motion through a rack and pinion combination. The two sets of one-way clutch mechanisms include one that engages during the forward movement of the rack and the other that engages during the reverse movement of the rack, both of which rotate an output shaft in the same direction when they engage. With this arrangement, the motion converting mechanism according to the present invention can rotate the output shaft in the same direction during both forward and reverse movements of the rack, thereby improving efficiency in converting the reciprocating motion into the rotary motion as compared with the conventional one. Thus, various rotary tools utilizing this motion converting mechanism can be provided. One of these rotary tools is a ratchet type socket wrench, in which an arm is reciprocated, so that the output shaft can be rotated in the same direction during both the forward and reverse movements of the arm. Another one is a rotary tool, such as a screwdriver, in which a grip is grasped and released, so that the output shaft can be rotated in the same direction during both actions.
