    摘要: Roller-band apparatus wherein rollers are entrapped in the loops of S-shaped portions of flexible bands, each pair of rollers in such an S-shaped portion of band being known as a ''''cluster,'''' between special parallel opposed surfaces of a guideway comprising relatively fixed rails having opposed surfaces with each surface consisting of two parallel tracks with a depression or slot therebetween to accept end portions of the band on each side of the cluster, the rollers having a similar depression or groove to accept an intermediate portion of the band at the cluster, and the band as well as at least one roller of each cluster having inter-engaging teeth, this feature enabling precision calibration. The rollers of each cluster have interengaging annular flanges and all the rollers have contact portions rolling on the opposed surfaces of the guideway. The foregoing basic features are applied to an X-Y table with carriages having a pair of guideways each with a pair of clusters with certain of the rollers of opposed clusters connected and power driven and the carriages are mounted for movement at right angles to each other and thus adapted for manipulating circuit boards and the like during fabrication.

    摘要: A linear movement device has a housing and a carriage which can move in a longitudinal direction with respect to the housing, wherein the housing extends with an essentially constant U-shaped cross-sectional shape in the longitudinal direction, with the result that the housing bounds a guide cavity, wherein the guide cavity is covered with a toothed belt which extends in the longitudinal direction, wherein the toothed belt is attached at both ends to the housing with the result that said toothed belt defines a toothed belt plane, wherein at least one separate guide rail which extends in the longitudinal direction is arranged within the guide cavity, on which guide rail at least one separate guiding carriage is mounted in a longitudinally movable fashion, which guiding carriage is permanently connected to the carriage, wherein a first and a second deflection wheel, which deflect the toothed belt out of the toothed belt plane, are rotatably attached to the carriage, wherein a rotatable drive wheel, which is in drive-transmitting engagement with the toothed belt, is arranged between the first and the second deflection wheels. The carriage has a single-piece carriage base body which extends in the longitudinal direction, wherein said carriage base body is embodied as a closed tube essentially over its entire length, with the result that it bounds a carriage cavity, wherein the guiding carriage is attached to the outside of the carriage base body, preferably directly to the outside of the carriage base body, wherein the toothed belt is guided through the carriage cavity, and wherein the first and second deflection wheels and the drive wheel are arranged within the carriage cavity.

    摘要: In a wire-driving system that drives and moves a movable unit along a guide path, a drive drum member is rotatably provided on the movable unit to be rotated around an axis which is perpendicular to a movement direction of the movable unit. An electric drive motor is provided in the movable unit and operationally connected to the drum member to be rotationally driven in either a first rotational direction or a second rotational direction. A wire cable has a first end and a second end, and is partially wound around the drum member such that a first cable section and a second cable section are extended from the drum member. The respective first and second ends of the wire cable are securely attached to two fixed points beside terminal ends of the guide path such that the first and second cable sections of the wire cable are tensionally extended along the guide path. The respective first and second cable sections of the wire cable are wound around and unwound from the drum member during the rotation of the drum member in the first rotational direction by the drive source, and the respective first and second cable sections of the wire cable are unwound from and wound around the drum member during the rotation of the drum member in the second rotational direction by the drive source, resulting in the movement of the movable unit along the guide path.
