    摘要: A ring-shaped gasket for making high-purity fluid pathway connections between opposing fluid delivery apparatus elements having at least one simple flat surface in contact with the gasket. The face of at least one apparatus element typically has a circular counterbore depression to receive the gasket, but is not required. The gasket has a body, pierced through by a hole creating a fluid pathway and defining a radial inner surface, and additionally having a radial outer surface, a first axial end surface and a second axial end surface. At least one of the first and second axial end surfaces has a stress concentration feature radially adjacent to a gasket sealing region, the sealing region constructed to be in contact with a face surface of a corresponding fluid conduit port. The stress concentration feature may be a groove or a plurality of cavities disposed adjacent the gasket axial end surface sealing region.

    摘要: A seal structure has a metal gasket arranged between a pair of casings. The metal gasket is provided with a bead portion in an inner peripheral side of a planate outer peripheral portion, and a bent portion in an outer peripheral side. When the metal gasket is pinched by a pair of casings, the bead portion elastically deforms so as to reduce its height and the outer peripheral portion elastically deforms on the basis of the elastic deformation of the bead portion, and comes into contact its outer peripheral end portion with one casing, whereby any gap in which salt water stays is not formed between one casing and the outer peripheral portion, and the bent portion comes into contact with the other casing, whereby any gap in which the salt water stays is not formed between the other casing and the outer peripheral portion.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine fitted with a combustion pressure detection device includes: an internal combustion engine having a combustion chamber, a pressure detection device having a housing, a diaphragm, and a detection member, and having a shoulder part. The diaphragm is provided on the front end side of the housing and the detection member arranged inside the housing and behind the diaphragm, allowing it to detect the pressure working via the diaphragm. Also provided is a second seal member in a ring shape that seals the opening in the combustion chamber and the housing in the shoulder part of the housing in the pressure detection device.

    摘要: A seal structure has a metal gasket arranged between a pair of casings. The metal gasket is provided with a bead portion in an inner peripheral side of a planate outer peripheral portion, and a bent portion in an outer peripheral side.     摘要: Disclosed is a metal seal ring by which conduits are hermetically engaged by a pressure in accordance with a fluid pressure. The metal seal ring is comprised of a first annular seal surface (12a) configured so as to be in contact with a first flange, a second annular seal surface (12b) configured so as to be in contact with a second flange, a pressure receiving surface (12f) which is formed between the first and second seal surfaces and which defines an annular recessed portion (12e) which is radially inwardly open, and an annular seal portion (12) comprised of a first seal portion (12A) which is elastically deformable and formed between the annular recessed portion (12e) and the first seal surface (12a) and a second seal portion (12B) which is elastically deformable and formed between the annular recessed portion (12e) and the second seal surface (12b). An annular seal ring main body (14) which is engaged with the first and second flanges to prevent the first and second flanges from moving closer to the metal seal ring in the axial direction and prevent an excessive force from being applied to the first and second seal portions, is provided on the radially outer side of the seal portion (12). The first and second seal portions (12A, 12B) are respectively pressed against the first and second flanges due to the fluid pressure received by the pressure receiving surface.

The connector includes a seal bore that receives the metal seal with the inner portion of the seal bore open to the bore. In one example, the connector and nut are formed from aluminum and the nipple is formed from stainless steel and includes an aluminum coating applied to surfaces in contact with the metal seal and the connector.
