摘要: A rotary plug valve is disclosed in a preferred embodiment that has two telescoping seat assemblies that fit into respective recesses provided in the valve body surrounding a passageway through the plug valve. A valve chamber is formed in the valve body into which the rotary plug may be positioned to control flow through the valve by rotation thereof. In a preferred embodiment, the telescoping seat assemblies provide an upstream and a downstream seal with the rotary plug. The telescoping seat assemblies preferably function differently when in the open and closed position so that both assemblies expand when in the open position whereas in the closed position one assembly expands and one is compressed A line pressure surface is provided to provide a force against the plug seal seat element. The plug seal seat element and plug mate with a curved surface and the contact stress varies depending on the location along the curved surface. The line pressure surface is made large enough so that a sufficient portion of the mating surface has a contact stress greater than line pressure so as to form a fluid tight, e.g., gas tight, seal. In one preferred embodiment, the line pressure surface is made large enough so that the average contact stress is greater than line pressure. In another embodiment, the seals are comprised of a non-permeable material that is sufficiently flexible to conform to sealing surfaces.

摘要: A three-piece angle stop valve comprises a valve body, resilient control sleeve and handle, with no separate fastening or sealing elements required. Inlet line pressure resiliently biases the side walls of the control sleeve and a circumferential sealing flap formed thereon into sealing engagement with the valve bore to prevent leakage. The handle is secured to the valve body by resilient formations which snap into a circumferential groove on the valve body. The handle rotates the control sleeve by means of telescoping splines. Several circumferential and axial reinforcing ribs are formed on the interior of the control sleeve.

摘要: A sluice valve arrangement is adapted to make an air-tight partition or communication between a vacuum treatment chamber and the atmosphere or a pre-chamber. This arrangement includes a valve seat member comprising a cylindrical or spherical member having therein an opening, a pair of guide rails attached to the inner circumference of the seat member, a valve member movably supported on the guide rails, and means for air-tight engagement of the valve member and the valve seat portion of the seat member. The valve member has a curvature equal to that of the cylindrical or spherical member, and the engagement means comprises a plurality of bellows expandable by a compressed gas or air.

摘要: The multi-way valve comprises an upper valve body, a lower valve body and a rotary valve core. A valve seat ring is located in the rotary valve core and comprises a body. A first annular boss is arranged on an outer wall of the body, and a second annular boss is arranged on an inner wall. The upper surfaces of the first annular boss and the second annular boss are respectively flush with the upper surface of the body to form a sealing surface which fits with a sealing surface of the upper valve body in a sealed manner. An annular gap is formed between the lower surface of the first annular boss and the rotary valve core, so that liquid in the chamber and an oil incoming channel respectively acts on the lower surface of the first annular boss or the second annular boss to form a sealing load.

摘要: Disclosed are a valve seat ring and a multi-way valve having the valve seat ring. The multi-way valve comprises an upper valve body, a lower valve body and a rotary valve core, wherein the valve seat ring is located in the rotary valve core, the valve seat ring comprises a body, the body is provided with a penetrated through-hole, a first annular boss is arranged on an outer wall of the body, and a second annular boss is arranged on an inner wall; the upper surfaces of the first annular boss and the second annular boss are respectively flush with the upper surface of the body to form a sealing surface which fits with a sealing surface of the upper valve body in a sealed manner; and an annular gap is formed between the lower surface of the first annular boss and the rotary valve core, so that liquid in the chamber and an oil incoming channel respectively acts on the lower surface of the first annular boss or the second annular boss to form a sealing load. A pressure is applied from either the chamber or a metering orifice, a sealing load hydraulically acted on the valve seat ring is formed by the hydraulic acting force of the chamber or the metering orifice, and the hydraulic adaptability for sealing the valve seat ring is realized, thereby meeting the requirement of sealing in the multi-way valve at the leakage level of sealing level VI under a high-pressure difference.
