Abstract:
A wet disconnect system with post disconnection pressure integrity includes a bridge tube. One or more seals on the bridge tube that seal the bridge tube to one or more conductors passing through the bridge tube. A defeatable seal/anchor at the bridge tube sealing an outside surface of the bridge tube to an inside surface of a separate structure. The defeatable seal/anchor being defeatable upon application of an axial load above a threshold.
Abstract:
A sleeve (1) which can house at least a portion (2) of cable or a pipe (4) comprises an internally hollow body (6) having at least one flexible portion (22) which can be clamped around the said portion of the cable or pipe, and a sealing element (26) provided in the region of the flexible portion of the sleeve body, deformable together therewith and produced by co-moulding. The sleeve (1) can be associated with a clamping ring nut (100) which can deform the assembly formed by the flexible portion (22) of the sleeve body and the scaling element (26) onto the portion of the cable or of the pipe which is housed in the sleeve body (1).
Abstract:
An adjustable length column pipe for connecting a submersible electric pump in a fuel storage tank with a distribution head that distributes the fuel to dispenser units. Two telescoping column pipes can be telescopically adjusted to the desired length and then locked together by a locking mechanism. An adapter bushing is threaded onto the end of the larger diameter pipe and has a projecting sleeve. A fitting is threaded onto the sleeve and tightened to compress a seal ring which seals the lock assembly to the pipe. Projecting fingers on the fitting are wedged against the smaller telescoping pipe by a nut which is threaded onto the fitting and has a tapered surface to provide progressive wedging action. Electrical wiring for operating the pump is contained within a telescoping conduit assembly which extends inside of the column pipes and is isolated from the fuel passageway by a seal arrangement.
Abstract:
A pipe coupling segment includes an arcuate body portion defining a first end, a second end opposite the first end, a first axial side, and a second axial side opposite the first axial side; a hook extending from the first end of the arcuate body portion, wherein the hook defines a shank portion and a bend portion, the shank portion extending in a substantially radially outward direction from the arcuate body portion and the bend portion extending in a substantially axial direction from the shank portion, the bend portion defining an upper engagement surface, the upper engagement surface defining a sloped portion angled rearwardly towards the shank portion; and a fastener lug extending from the second end of the arcuate body portion.
Abstract:
A pipe connector assembly which is locked and assembled on a holder after required parts are assembled in sequence on a nut of a pipe connecting device during the process of connecting a joint of a pipe, and a method for connecting a pipe using same are disclosed. A holder can be unlocked from a nut only when a pipe is inserted up to a precise point in an insert hole in a part assembled to a nut for pipe fitting, and the assembly and method can not only ensure the assembled sequence of parts, but can accurately maintain the assembled position of a pipe.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a nut (1) for arrangement on a hose connector, including a connecting device (2) which is connectable in a fluid-tight manner to a hose connection part (13), and a receiving means (3) for the hose connector (7), having a first end (3a) and a second end (3b), wherein the receiving means (3) is realized for the purpose of encompassing the hose connector (7) in a form-fitting manner in the circumferential direction in such a manner that the nut (1) and the hose connector (7) are rotatable in relation to one another in the circumferential direction; wherein the nut (1) comprises anti-rotation protection (4) which is realized such that, as a result of a structural element (16) of the hose connection part (13), it is transferable from an open position, in which the nut (1) and the hose connector (7) are rotatable in relation to one another in the circumferential direction when the nut is arranged on the hose connector, into a closed position in which rotating of the nut (1) in the circumferential direction in relation to the hose connector (7) is prevented when the nut (1) is arranged on the hose connector (7). The invention additionally relates to a hose connector for a fluid hose as well as to a hose connection part for a fluid hose.
