    摘要: A coupling assembly for a compressed air circuit has locking device for releasably engaging first and second sub-assemblies located at respective ends of first and second air lines. The first air line is connected to a tool adapted for compressed air operation, and the second air line is connected to a supply of compressed air. A valve controls the flow of compressed air between the first and second air lines. The valve is connected to the second sub-assembly and is slidably movable between a first position where it allows compressed air flow, and a second position where it prevents compressed air flow. The coupling assembly has stop element for preventing disengagement of the first and second sub-assemblies when the valve is in the first position.

    摘要: A coupling assembly for a compressed air circuit has locking means (16, 18) for releasably engaging first and second sub-assemblies (12, 14) located at respective ends of first and second air lines. The first air line is connected to a tool adapted for compressed air operation, and the second air line is connected to a supply of compressed air. A valve means (24) controls the flow of compressed air between the first and second air lines. The valve means is connected to the second sub-assembly (14) and is slidably movable between a first position where it allows compressed air flow, and a second position where it prevents compressed air flow. The coupling assembly has stop means (30, 32) for preventing disengagement of the first and second sub-assemblies (12,14) when the valve means (24) is in the first position.

    摘要: A hose coupling comprising a coupling body and coupling means secured to the ends of a hose. A circumferential groove formed in the coupling means cooperate with depressible spring pressed latches pivotally mounted on the coupling body. A hook portion is provided on the said latches to engage with the said groove to retain the parts of the coupling in assembled relationship. To disassemble the coupled parts, the spring pressed latches are depressed thereby lifting the hook from the groove thus enabling the coupled parts to be disconnected from one another.

    摘要: A refueling nozzle having a slidably mounted valve sleeve engageable with a valve seat carried by a rod adjacent a protruding nose. The valve seat being slidable on the rod so that the valve seat and sleeve may be moved, while maintaining a sealing relationship with each other, to take up the gap between the locking elements and the sleeve. Further, the rod is supported remote from the nose for limited movement in all angular directions to compensate for misalignment of the nose with a companion part of an associated drogue. The valve sleeve is slidably mounted in the nozzle body by a bearing member which also serves to retain in place latch elements for retaining the valve sleeve in a latched sealing engagement with the valve seat.

    摘要: In a means for coupling or locking two parts together, one part is provided with a preferably conical stud which can be inserted against a stop in a conical recess in the other part. One or preferably two or more spring actuated latching members pivotal about shafts at right angles to the axial direction of the stud are free to enter an enlarged section of the recess so that the latching members like barbs of a hook or harpoon prevent the stud from returning. An operating device rotatable or axially displaceable within the stud and actuated from one or both ends thereof effects the return of the latching members. The means may be used for coupling together two machine parts, e.g. in a chuck or the like, as a hose coupling, in a safety lock system for vehicles etc.
