摘要: A braking device includes a base, a braking component, and a driving component including a reset member. The braking component has a clamping block. The driving component includes a movable member, a chamber therein and a first butting portion. The movable member passes through the driving member. One end of the movable member has a piston accommodated in the chamber, and the other end of the movable member has a second butting portion. The reset member is disposed in the chamber. The piston butts the reset member under an external force, and the first butting portion and the second butting portion are kept away from each other, and when the external force vanishes, the reset member butts the piston, and the first butting portion and the second butting portion are kept close to each other so as to achieve a braking effect.

摘要: There is provided an apparatus and method for detecting stuck tools in automated machining operations. When a machining operation on a workpiece is finished, the tools are retracted from the workpiece. Prior to moving the workpiece to another machining operation, a stuck tool detector is moved along a plane of separation between the machine head and the workpiece. If a stuck tool is present, the detector senses the stuck tool and sends an alarm signal of the stuck tool condition so that the operator or controlling microprocessor based system is alerted to the stuck tool. Appropriate actions or repairs can then be carried out.

摘要: In an overspeed protection system for a centrifuge apparatus of the type which uses a coded reflective disk having alternate reflective and non-reflective sectors secured to a rotor to determine the maximum safe operating speed thereof, there is disclosed apparatus for detecting, upon start-up of the centrifuge, whether the disk is in place and operating properly. This is ascertained by determining whether the time durations of the signals from the rotor are greater or less than a predetermined minimum value. If they are greater than the minimum value, this is indicative of the fact that the coded disk is in proper position. If they are less than the minimum value, a power shutdown command is generated.

摘要: An auxiliary tool control circuit which can be incorporated into the hydraulic supply lines for various types of construction equipment is presented herein. The auxiliary tool control circuit includes a pilot operated valve and a manually operated control valve which are cooperatively effective to control the delivery of motive fluid to a tool which has been connected into a preexisting fluid circuit for other equipment. The connections and cooperative arrangements between the manual control valve and the pilot operated valve and the operating controls for the other equipment are such that simultaneous operation can not occur between the other equipment and the auxiliary tool.
