摘要: A solar concentrating system for concentrating sunlight by tracking the sun, including concentrator support structure, an annular track mounted on an upper surface of a base, the center of mass of the concentrator support structure being off-axis relative to curvature center of annular track, enclosures provided at comers and comprising a wheel positioned on the track, the enclosure connected to a piston connected to a guiding element placed on the track; a fastening element that when moved towards the track, the guiding element is fastened to the track, and when the fastening element is moved away from the track, the guiding element is released, when the first piston elongates or contracts, the first guiding element is fastened to the track, the second guiding element is released, the wheels of the enclosures rotate from a first location on the track to a second location, thereby rotating the concentrator support structure.

摘要: This invention is about a method and apparatus for fabricating large scale stationery parabolic solar collector. The method involves use of a robot like apparatus for sculpting shape of underlying base material to define contour of a parabolic collector. The reflective panels installed on the base material form a parabolic shaped mirror which reflects the sun's rays to a well defined focal point. The method of construction is scalable and can be used for fabricating small size parabolic collectors as well as large scale ones.

摘要: A solar condenser, comprising two or more parabolic mirrors; each parabolic mirror is provided with a different focal length and a common focusing plane; the parabolic mirrors consist of a plurality of staggeredly arranged mirror unit groups consisting of more than one reflecting units; the distance between every two parabolic mirrors with different focal lengths is the focal length difference thereof. Through the staggered installation of the reflecting units, the air flow between the mirrors is increased without increasing additional footprint or affecting the light-focusing effect, thus the impact of winds on the mirrors and structures is reduced; and ice, snow and dust do not easily accumulate on the mirrors, thus effectively improving the operational stability of the solar condenser.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a solar energy system including a tower having a solar radiation receiver, the solar radiation receiver including a plurality of tubes carrying a heat-transfer medium and a drum, the drum in thermal communication with the tubes, and one or more mirrors configured to reflect solar radiation onto the receiver, wherein the receiver receives the reflected solar radiation from the mirrors, thereby heating the heat transfer medium and vaporizing the heat transfer medium.

摘要: A solar collection system is described that includes an elongate central truss angled upward from ground horizontal and mounted on a plurality of ground support legs, a collector subsystem mounted at one end of the central truss, a cross truss perpendicular to the central truss and mounted at an end of the central truss opposite the collector subsystem, and a reflector subsystem mounted on the cross truss. The collector subsystem includes a truncated trapezoid-shaped housing with a front side facing the reflector subsystem, the front side including a glassed-in opening fronting a V-shaped core heat mechanism enclosed within the housing interior that captures reflected photon energy from the reflector subsystem which heats a fluent medium within the V-shaped core heat mechanism for output to an external source for thermal power operations.

The method comprises reflecting energy impinging upon the reflector assembly with a plurality of reflective elements. The plurality of reflective elements is configured to direct energy reflected therefrom onto the receiver. The solar collector module is configured to rotate about an axis; and an angular position of the plurality of reflective elements is changed in relation to relative movement of the sun with respect to earth.
