摘要： Disclosed is a medication carrying case having a modular interior and a deployable tray work surface. The case structure is provided in several different sizes and designs, whereby medication and other articles are supported by removably attached organizational leaflets attached along the interior surfaces of the case. Each leaflet comprises a number of different pouches or organizational elements for supporting medication and accessory items. The deployable tray attaches along the exterior of the case and provides a clean work surface for organizing and preparing medication prior to use. For temperature sensitive medication, a cooling chamber is provided within the leaflet and behind a pouch to cool the pouch contents. Furthermore, an internal temperature sensing means and a timer element is provided to monitor the interior environment of the case and provide a means of notification for the user for administration of medication, respectively.

The die body has an upper region in which the upper punch is movably guided along the press axis in the charging chute, and a lower region in which the lower punch is movably guided along the press axis in the charging chute. Two cross slides realize a forming region which determines the lateral outside contour of the green compact, and are arranged on the die body so as to be displaceable in a direction which deviates from the press axis. The two cross slides only move into contact with one another when the two cross slides are arranged in their respective end position.

摘要： A system for controlled freezing, storing and thawing of a biopharmaceutical material includes a cavity for receiving a container for holding the biopharmaceutical material. Further included are at least a pair of opposed surfaces facing the biopharmaceutical material holding container. At least one of the opposed surfaces includes a moveable contacting surface configured to contact the container to inhibit a clearance between the container and the movable contacting surface. Also included is at least one heat transfer surface which is thermally coupled to the biopharmaceutical material holding container when the moveable contacting surface contacts the container. Also, the cavity may be configured to receive a frame for supporting the container holding the biopharmaceutical material. Further, the system may include a driver to move the frame holding the container inside the cavity.

The system comprises a sealable thermal isolation chamber which is preconditioned at a certain temperature for a predefined period of time. The thermal isolation chamber includes cavities of a phase change material which help to maintain the temperature of bags of human blood that are placed into the thermal isolation chamber for storage during transit. The thermal isolation chamber is surrounded by vacuum insulation panels and the vacuum insulation panels, encompassing the thermal isolation chamber, is placed into a durable carrying bag. The thermal isolation chamber is reusable along with the vacuum insulation panels and bag.

摘要： Manual and automated methods of pre-charging an empty or partially empty insulated container with CO2 snow are provided. A first location such as a charging location charges CO2 liquid into a container to create a pre-charged container with CO2 snow. The charging location prepares the pre-charged container for delivery to a second location, either by itself, or through a third party. The second location may be a clinical site, which upon receipt of the pre-charged container, loads a perishable item such as a biological sample into the pre-charged container. A user receives the pre-charged container with perishable item and removes the perishable item from the pre-charger container for testing (e.g., biological testing). Depending on the level of depletion of the CO2 snow in the pre-charged container, the user returns the depleted container to the first location or the intermediate location.

摘要： A storage basket is configured to hold multiple product units such as blood bags within the cabinet of a freezer. The storage basket includes first and second spaced-apart sidewalls and a plurality of inclined shelves extending between and coupled to these sidewalls. The inclined shelves include a plurality of air flow apertures that defined storage receptacles for product units as well as additional flow apertures to ensure minimal hindrance of cooling air flow within the freezer. The storage basket also includes handles that enable easy grasping and movement of multiple product units at once into and out of the freezer. As a result, the amount of time needed to cool product units down to a desired temperature with the freezer is reduced and the storage density within the freezer is increased.
