    摘要: The invention relates to material processing, in particular to a method and a device for processing agricultural waste. The inventive method involves supplying original raw material, inert filler parts and a gas agent to a sectional drum-type apparatus provided with passage openings in the partitions between sections thereof. The apparatus is put in action and the gas agent through flow is formed through the apparatus. Each section of the drum is loaded with the inert filler parts to a level which is not lower than the edges of the passage openings in the partitions at any operating position of the drum. An active area, in which the original raw material is poured or falls at a desired rate and/or time in such a way that it moves between of the filler parts and/or the surfaces thereof, is formed on the path of the gas agent flow. Moreover, the time and/or the intensity of interaction between the original raw material and the gas agent is adjusted. The invention makes it possible to intensify the interaction between substances in the similar or different aggregate states thereof and to extend the number of processing operations and the types of materials to be processed.

    摘要: An asphalt based material recycling system and method is used to recycle asphalt materials, such as asphalt shingles and tar paper that include granules, fibers or other particles. The asphalt material is simultaneously heated and milled in a heated milling apparatus, such as a heated ball mill, to reduce the asphalt material including granules to a fine mesh in suspension in liquid asphalt. Excess moisture is removed from the asphalt material being recycled by continuously venting the heated milling apparatus. The heated milling apparatus preferably includes a rotatable milling vessel rotated at an acute angle with respect to the horizontal plane and having an opening that provides continuous venting. The shape of the milling vessel allows the liquid level inside the milling vessel to have a liquid head above the outlet region of the milling vessel, for facilitating milling. The rotatable milling vessel includes a plurality of mixing members, such as rods or paddles, extending from an interior surface to enhance milling and to pull the asphalt material being recycled under and into the liquid slurry. The asphalt material recycling system further includes a filter apparatus for filtering reduced asphalt and removing foreign objects therefrom.

    摘要: A thermal method for continuously processing waste having a calorific value and any degree of moisture, wherein waste is put in a flow of hot, heat-resistant, heat-exchanging material which is warmer than 100.degree. C. The heat exchanging material cools due to heat exchange, the waste dries and the non-evaporated waste components are heated. The cooled, heat-exchanging material is subsequently separated from the dried waste materials and the separated dried waste material is mixed with a percentage of the separated heat-exchanging material. The dried waste material and heat-exchanging material mixture is subsequently heated to pyrolyze waste material and heat the heat exchanging material in preparation for its subsequently use in the continuous process.

    摘要: A dryer for removing moisture from wet fine particles, such as coal, comprising an insulated stationary cylinder in which an open-ended metallic cylindrical tube is rotated, coaxially in an essentially horizontal position. Wet particles are introduced in said open end while hot air is circulated between the stationary cylinder and the tube. Metallic balls or the like contained in the rotating tube are interspersed in the wet mix. Perforated fins and baffles extend from the outer wall of the tube to aid in transferring heat, by conduction, to the tube and metallic balls to evaporate the moisture before the coal is discharged at the opposite end through a screen section of the tube. Additives may be introduced into the wet mix to coat the dried coal particles to prevent dust or prepare the mix for pelletizing or briquetting.

    摘要: A method and apparatus is provided for continuous dehydration of sludge wherein, prior to dehydration, water is mechanically removed from the sludge, and the thus obtained sludge of cutting consistency is mixed with heated spheres. Dehydration is carried out at reduced pressure, wherein the sludge from which water has been mechanically removed is intimately mixed with the heated spheres in order to increase the heat capacity of the sludge. The dehydrated sludge and the cooled spheres are then separated from each other, the dehydrated sludge is removed, while the cooled spheres are reheated and subsequently added to fresh sludge that is to be dehydrated. The spheres are partly heated by means of water vapor coming from the sludge and partly by means of steam. The spheres are made from steel, having a diameter of 8-16 mm. The pressure in the system ranges form approx. 2 bars to approx. 0.05 bar. An apparatus is also provided for carrying out the method. The apparatus may be of the screw kind or of the turret kind.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus for drying or heat treating granular material fed in a continuous flow. The apparatus comprises a heating container having an inlet end and an outlet end. A heating source is located entirely within the container. An auger conveyor is disposed in the container adjacent the inlet end to displace a particulate medium, capable of retaining heat, from the inlet end to a heat chamber within the container. A transporting mechanism is provided in the heating chamber for showering the particulate medium in direct contact with a flame during a predetermined time so that the medium is quickly heated to an approximate desired temperature. A mixing and drying conveyor mixes and conveys the heated particulate medium with a humid granular material whereby to dry the material by heat transfer between the particulate medium and the granular material. A separator then separates the particulate medium from the granular material. The particulate medium is then recycled while still hot and the dried granular material is recovered.
