摘要： The present folding stock adapter can be used with many types of military-type assault rifles that typically comprise a receiver extension, buffer and action spring. The present folding stock adapter can be used to add a folding capability to a standard stock allowing it to fold against a rifle's receiver when the weapon is not in use, thus reducing the overall length of the weapon. This reduction in length can facilitate its maneuverability, storage and transport in cramped quarters. The present device can also allow for the quick unfolding of the stock in order to allow the weapon to function and be fire normally.

The firearm comprises a receiver assembly adapted to receive a cartridge, a bolt assembly including a firing device operable to fire the cartridge, a barrel adapted to receive the projectile after the cartridge is fired, and a gas assembly including a gas tube. The receiver assembly includes an upper receiver portion, a lower receiver portion, and an upper receiver cover. The upper receiver portion defines a longitudinal axis, and an indexing slot operable to receive the gas tube. The upper receiver portion includes at least one integrated exterior track extending generally parallel to the longitudinal axis adapted to slidably couple with the upper receiver cover and a plurality of interior tracks extending generally parallel to the longitudinal axis adapted to slidably couple with the bolt assembly. The upper and lower receiver portions are pivotally connected to one another.

A gas regulator can be disposed substantially within the gas regulator block and can be configured to adjustably vary an amount of gas flow through the gas regulator block. A cover may be configured to cover a portion of the gas regulator block to inhibit inadvertent adjustment of the amount of gas flow and configured to uncover the portion of the gas regulator block to facilitate intentional adjustment of the amount of gas flow. A gas passage can be formed in the gas regulator block in a forward location and the gas port can be configured to communicate gas from the barrel to the gas regulator.

摘要： Folding firearms have a first portion including a shoulder stock having a free end butt surface and a trigger assembly including a trigger lever, a second portion including a frame defining a bolt passage, a bolt received in the bolt passage, and a barrel connected to the frame, and the first portion and second portion being pivotally connected to each other to pivot about a pivot axis between an operating position in which the barrel extends in a first direction and the shoulder stock extends in an opposite direction, and a folded position in which the barrel and shoulder stock extend in a common direction. The pivot axis may be perpendicular to a bore axis defined by the barrel, and oriented parallel to a medial plane defined by the firearm, the medial plane being vertical during normal firearm operation.

摘要： The breach lock is for use in securing open the breach of an assault rifle during cleaning of the bolt action and the breach between uses of the assault rifle. The breach lock includes a notch along a top of the breach lock and a hole along the breach lock, which define a length. The breach lock is inserted between the upper receiver assembly and the lower receiver assembly so as to prevent any rotation there between. The notch bolts to the upper receiver assembly whereas the hole employs the pin of the assault rifle to engage the lower receiver assembly. The breach lock is simple in installation and removal with use of an assault rifle, and prevents unwanted collapse between the upper and lower receiver assemblies, which would otherwise pinch or injure the hand and fingers of an end user when cleaning.

摘要： An improved shim construction incorporating a thin body exhibiting a profile generally matching a selected mounting ear of a lower assembleable receiver, the shim including an arcuate perimeter with an flat interconnected base surface. The body exhibits an aperture defined therein such that, upon placement between an inner facing surface of the ear and an intermediate positioned cylindrical shaped portion, a subsequent widthwise traversing installation of a pivot pin causes the shim body to be sandwiched between the receivers to occupys an excess tolerance, thereby reducing or eliminating instances of misaligning slop or play exhibited between the receivers. The shim may exhibit a thickness in a range of 0.001″ to 0.010″. A plurality of shims can be provided as a kit and which are applied in scalable fashion to compensate for varying excess tolerance established between the receivers.
