摘要： A system of detecting loading and unloading of mobile containers such as grain carts utilizes two low pass filters to determine whether the contents of the container are changing by subtracting one filter signal from the other, and using the sign of the difference. Weighing performance is improved by utilizing accelerometers to compensate for measurement dynamics and non-level orientation. Failure and degradation of weight sensors is detected by testing sensor half bridges. Loading and unloading weights can be tied to specific vehicles by utilizing RF beacons.

The storage receptacle and conveying arrangement are installed on a precision scale which provides continuous registration of the weight loss per unit time. The output of the scale is used to regulate the spraying operation to obtain an increase in the quality of the resulting work product.

摘要： A digital cutoff system comprising a weighing scale for producing analog signals in accordance with the desired weights of a plurality of materials successively placed upon the scale, analog-to-digital converter means for changing the analog signals to digital signals, means operable while one or more of the materials are upon the scale for resetting the converter means to cancel the digital signals corresponding to said one or more materials, and circuit means for producing a cutoff signal in response to digital signals corresponding to the desired weight of each of said plurality of materials. By resetting the converter means after each material is weighed and while the load is upon the scale, noncumulative weighing of multiple materials is accomplished with digital control of each material.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a method of monitoring a patient's medicine compliance. It involves weighing a container of medicine to determine a starting weight on a scale which is connected to a computer with a display unit and storing the starting weight in the computer followed by reweighing the container of medicine after a prescribed dosage is consumed to determine a second weight. The computer then determines the difference between the starting weight and said second weight to store a dosage unit weight. The computer is programmed to calculate compliance required weights of the container for each dosage administration for the prescription period of the medicine. The container of medicine is reweight from time to time on the scale to compare actual weight with compliance required weight to determine compliance and the computer visually displays the compliance results on the display unit to permit compliance monitoring. Optionally, other patient characteristics are also monitored and feedback is provided. The present invention includes both the method and the system of interconnected devices to practice the method. Feedback may be to the patient for self-monitoring or to a professional, and a single medicine or a plurality of medicines may be monitored.

摘要： An apparatus for weighing and discharging material such as down, feathers, and the like is disclosed. Feathers, down and the like are transported from a storage container to a weighing drum by means of a flow of air which passes horizontally into and through the weighing drum, whereby the feathers are deposited in the drum. When a desired weight has accumulated, the flow of air to the drum is diverted and the accumulation of feathers may be discharged from the drum. Upon completion of the discharge, the flow of air carrying feathers is again directed into the drum.
