    摘要: A memory-type control system for producing and storing a control signal which is used in an automatic adjustment system. A signal, having a parameter to be controlled, is provided; and a detecting circuit detects when the parameter is within a predetermined range. An UP/DOWN counter counts clock pulses and is responsive to the detecting circuit for counting in one direction when the detected parameter is greater than the predetermined range, for counting in a second direction when the detected parameter is less than the predetermined range and for ceasing its counting when the detected parameter is within the predetermined range. A parameter control circuit uses the count of the counting means as a control signal to adjust the parameter so as to bring said parameter within the predetermined range. A typical application of the automatic adjustment system is a white-balance control system for use with video camera apparatus.

    摘要: Apparatus for generating pulses having selectable pulse width and selecta pulse repetition interval which may be used as a pulse repetition interval generator in a radar signal simulator. Each pulse is initiated by a clocked counter when it reaches a predetermined count from a preselected initial count. The initial count is determined by data stored in a read-only-memory which is selectably loaded into the counter to provide a variable initial count. Another clocked counter which is enabled by the leading edge of the pulse then terminates the pulse when it reaches a predetermined count from a preselected initial count.

    摘要: A data system and method for entering, storing and displaying a desired digital time which replaces a conventional input keyboard, rotary switch, or thumbwheel switch for a digital timer or clock. This system processes the voltage from a manually positioned wiper of a potentiometer through an inexpensive analog-to-digital converter, displays the digital data to the operator for identification, and holds the data for further processing. The operator repositions the wiper so as to sequentially display a digital time in response to a static or steady state digital signal until the desired digital time is displayed.

    摘要: A mile post and mileage indicator for maintaining the exact mile post position of a vehicle while said vehicle is travelling upon a roadway containing designated mile post signs, which increase or decrease in a particular direction. This indicator may also be used to indicate exactly how far the vehicle has travelled or how much further it must travel before it reaches a certain destination. The indicator contains electronic circuits for presetting a specific mileage onto a display and for increasing or decreasing the mileage display in conjunction with a pulser unit placed in the speedometer cable of the vehicle. A calibration unit is utilized which corrects minor errors in signals received from the vehicle transmission.

    摘要: A counter stage includes a clocked transmission gate which, when turned on, couples the output of the stage back to its input. A resetting circuit is connected to the input of the stage for selectively clamping the input to a fixed voltage level representative of a logic one or a logic zero. The resetting circuit is enabled only when the clocked transmission gate is turned off, whereby no current can flow from, or to, the output via the resetting means. This enables high speed of reset since the input of the stage is then easily discharged (or charged) to the selected fixed level via the resetting circuit.

    摘要: A continuous counting system includes a multistage binary counter for deriving the frequency of an input signal by counting the cycles thereof occurring during predetermined timing intervals. A control circuit, responsive to the input signal and to a timing reference signal, develops an output pulse during each period of the timing reference signal extending between a logical transition of predetermined polarity of the reference signal and the subsequently occurring nth logical transition of like polarity of the input signal. The output pulses are coupled for presetting the binary counter to the count n whereby counts beginning with n+1 are accumulated during the remainder of the timing interval.

The time signal generator comprises a second pulse generator of the same design as the first pulse generator and a counter which switches on the first pulse generator for the duration of a predetermined number of pulses from the second pulse generator. The frequency ratio of the two pulse generators is variable by the geometrical value.
