Abstract: The disclosure provides a display apparatus and a display method thereof. The display apparatus includes: a display panel, including a plurality of pixel columns which extend in a first direction and are arranged in a second direction, wherein each of the pixel columns includes a plurality of pixel islands arranged in the first direction, each of the pixel islands includes at least four sub pixels which have the same color, and in the second direction, (odd number)th pixel columns are dislocated by a first preset distance relative to (even number)th pixel columns in the first direction; a light-transmitting pad layer, located on a light-emitting side of the display panel; and a cylindrical lens structure, located on one side of the light-transmitting pad layer face away from the display panel and including a plurality of cylindrical lenses.

Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for display configurations for providing an augmented reality heads up display. In one example, a heads up display device includes at least one display, at least one micro lens array, at least one optical element comprising a lenticular lens or parallax barrier positioned between the display and the at least one micro lens array, and a display controller comprising a processor and memory storing instructions executable by the processor to control the at least one display to output image light that passes through the at least one optical element and the at least one micro lens array and impinges on a transparent plane to form a first three-dimensional image in a first plane and a second three-dimensional image in a second plane.

Abstract: A three-dimensional display system, a head up display system, and a mobile object including a head up display system include a display apparatus, barrier, detection apparatus, and controller. The display apparatus has subpixels arranged in a grid along orthogonal first and second directions and displays left- and right-eye images respectively in first subpixels and second subpixels separated by a display boundary from among the subpixels. The barrier has a light shielding region that shields the left-eye image and the right-eye image, and a light transmitting region that causes at least part of the left-eye image to reach a left eye of a user and at least part of the right-eye image to reach a right eye of the user. The detection apparatus detects the left and right eye positions. The controller moves the display boundary based on at least a change in the positions of the left and right eyes.

The display panel displays a left-eye image and a right-eye image respectively in first subpixels and second subpixels.
