    摘要： Disclosed is an electrophotographic imaging member that includes a substrate, a unitary electrophotographic insulating layer and a continuous phase having a transparent film forming polymer, the polymer phase having a surface facing away from the substrate, the surface facing away from the substrate contains imbibed dye molecules. The electrophotographic imaging member is prepared by subliming or vaporizing at least one sublimable or vaporizable dye on and into the surface of the layer facing away from the substrate. The invention also includes methods of forming multicolored or other images with this electrophotographic imaging member.

    摘要： A photoreceptor for use in a two color electrostatic imaging process is disclosed which comprises a conductive substrate layer; a first photogenerating layer overlaying the substrate layer which is sensitive to a first wavelength; a unipolar hole transporting layer overlaying the first photogenerating layer; and a second photogenerating layer overlaying the hole transporting layer which is sensitive to a second wavelength and at least partially transmits the first wavelength; wherein the transporting layer is substantially transparent to the first wavelength.An apparatus for forming multi-color images of an object employing the photoreceptor of the invention, wherein the color images are properly registered with respect to each other, is also disclosed.

    摘要： Conversion of selected image portions of a black and white xerographic copy into color portions is accomplished by applying a donor sheet, having a colorant in a resin binder coated thereon, to the image portions and thereafter heating the donor. Upon stripping the donor from the xerographic copy, the toner in the image portions of the xerographic copy acquire a surface layer of the colored composition from the donor sheet thereby resulting in a color highlighting of the image. The use of a nonthermoplastic binder resin material having a melting point of above 250.degree. F is necessary to insure the nontransfer of the color composition to background areas of the xerographic copy.
