    摘要: A control system for three mechanisms of a machine may include a pair of pivotable or rotatable structures and a telescoping or longitudinally urgeable structure that are coupled to a single handgrip and contained within a single structure. The control structures may simulate corresponding structures of an aerial platform on which they may be mounted, and provide motions in the same directions of the corresponding structures. Switches are activated upon urging of a handgrip, and springs may be provided to return the control to its neutral position. An aerial platform, a crane, or any other mobile machine may employ the control device and include corresponding structure.

The analog control may be applied on mobile equipment including aerial work platforms, forklifts, front end loaders, backhoes, earth movers, bulldozers, diggers, trenchers, agricultural equipment, mining machinery, and other operator controlled vehicular equipment by tailoring the shape, geometry and motions of the control to be analogous to those of the machine being controlled.

    摘要: A method of operating an operator control and monitoring device for safety-critical applications in which the control and monitoring device includes a display and a touch-sensitive sensor, wherein a control element is shown on the display which an operator must touch to obtain an approval for a safety-critical application that is granted for as long as the control element is being touched, wherein first and second numbers of touch points are respectively displayed in first and second control zones, position data of the first and second control zones is selected such that the fingers of a human hand cannot simultaneously touch all touch points of the first and second control zones, and wherein the approval for the safety-critical application is only granted if all touch points from the first and second control zones are being touched.

    摘要: A control device for the driving and translation, in a chosen direction, of the movable head of a diecutter machine, provides for the pre-setting of the direction of translation and for the successive driving of the pressing head by means of five sets of sensitive plates switches, disposed in the front portion of the machine. By touching opportunely one or two of said plates, combinative logic circuits are activated that allow selection of the direction of motion, the actuation of the thus preset displacement and the lowering of the head for the cutting operation.

    摘要: A microprocessor based sequence controller is disclosed in connection with a soup and beverage vending machine, in which sequences of functions required in the operation of the vending machine are under the control of the microprocessor unit. The microprocessor unit has two separate storage sections, one of which is not alterable and contains the basic program for the vending machine. The other section is alterable and contains adjustable modifications of the basic program. The alterable storage section is modifiable through the use of a separate service module, which is not normally connected with the sequence controller during normal vending operations. The start and stop times of each function of the sequence of functions are independently modifiable, and an interlock is provided to assure against unintentional modification of the start and stop times. The integrity of the stored modifications is automatically checked periodically, and the stored modifications are ignored if the integrity check fails.
