    摘要: An industrial process control field device includes a process variable transducer configured to sense or control a process variable. Field device circuitry is configured to couple to the process variable transducer and communicate information related to the process variable to another location. The field device circuitry includes an optical isolator having transmit circuitry on a first side of a galvanic isolation configured to transmit an optical signal which is pulsed on and off across the isolation. Receive circuitry is located on a second side of galvanic isolation and configured to receive the optical signal with an optical sensor. The optical sensor enters an “on” state when it receives a pulse and is otherwise in an “off” state. The receive circuitry provides a secondary side output based upon the received optical signal. The receive circuitry enters in a low power state when the optical sensor is in the “off” state.

    摘要: In a multiple type air conditioner system which includes a plurality of outdoor units and a plurality of indoor units, the plurality of outdoor units are connected with the plurality of indoor units through a communication line, address setting is attained by generating a random address from each of all the indoor units under a command of one of the outdoor units and generating a dummy address from each outdoor unit on the basis of the random address, by obtaining a correlative relationship between the outdoor and indoor units on the basis of a variation of a physical quantity of the outdoor unit connected to the indoor unit actually operated based on the dummy address, and by updating the addresses of all the outdoor and indoor units on the basis of the correlative relationships between all the outdoor and indoor units obtained through the step.

    摘要: A precision key pad controlled controller for a resistance welding machine is provided which may be set to deliver welding power to each of a multiplicity of welding operations on a precisely controlled repeatable basis. The controller incorporates circuitry for assuring that an accurately controlled amount of power is delivered for each welding operation by providing precise phase angle control despite variations in line voltage and line disturbances. The controller is constructed to incorporate selected numbers of steps to be performed automatically in sequence by the controlled welding machine in carrying out a particular welding operation. The duration of each step of the welding machine, the amount of welding power to be delivered, and other parameters are set for each particular welding operation by the key pad, and displayed on an associated alphanumeric display.

    摘要: An industrial process control field device includes a process variable transducer configured to sense or control a process variable. Field device circuitry is configured to couple to the process variable transducer and communicate information related to the process variable to another location. The field device circuitry includes an optical isolator having transmit circuitry on a first side of a galvanic isolation configured to transmit an optical signal which is pulsed on and off across the isolation. Receive circuitry is located on a second side of galvanic isolation and configured to receive the optical signal with an optical sensor. The optical sensor enters an “on” state when it receives a pulse and is otherwise in an “off” state. The receive circuitry provides a secondary side output based upon the received optical signal. The receive circuitry enters in a low power state when the optical sensor is in the “off” state.

    摘要: In a computer-based motor drive, a microcomputer is responsive to a plurality of input signals drived from the motor AC lines whenever contacts, or pushbuttons, commanding specific control operations to be performed, are closed. In such case, opto-couplers convert such AC voltage into a square pulse train which conveys a succession of digital high and low levels. A reference signal is derived, through an opto-coupler form the AC line, which in its high and low logic form is delayed in relation to the input signal trains. By sampling the input signal upon the occurrence fo a falling edge of the reference signal, then at least after the delay existing between the signals, the validity of the input signal is tested by comparing the two successive samples, thereby insuring a true command addressed to the microcomputer.
