Abstract:
Methods and systems for remotely monitoring and/or controlling a demand control ventilation system are disclosed. In one illustrative embodiment, a demand control ventilation device having a damper and a controller are provided. The damper may have a range of damper positions for controlling a flow of outside air into the building. The controller controls the damper positions such that a desired flow of outside air is drawn through the damper and into the building. A remote monitoring device may also be provided. The remote monitoring device may be located remotely from the demand control ventilation device, but in communication with or part of the controller. In some instances, the remote monitoring device may have a user interface for remotely monitoring and/or controlling at least certain aspects of the demand control ventilation system from the remote location.
Abstract:
A robot system includes a robot control device connected to a plurality of robots each having a plurality of joints and a robot teaching device configured to communicate with the robot control device so as to teach and operate the robots. The robot control device automatically select one of the robots to be operated in accordance with a change in a display state of a display of the robot teaching device.
Abstract:
A system includes at least one graphical display configured to display information associated with an industrial process and with a control system associated with the industrial process. The system also includes at least one processing device configured to identify a current state of the industrial process or the control system. The system further includes an ambient display configured to generate ambient lighting having one or more characteristics based on the current state. The one or more characteristics could include a color, an intensity, and/or a speed of transitions in the ambient lighting. The color could be based on whether the industrial process is operating normally and whether the control system has generated any warnings or alarms associated with the industrial process. The ambient display can be configured to transition the ambient lighting from a first color to a second color based on a change in the current state.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for designing stages that optimize production for a fracturing operation of a wellbore in a reservoir formation are disclosed. To ensure efficiency, a stage design operation generally takes into account fracture efficiency information along the length of the wellbore based on known attributes and use the efficiency information to divide the wellbore into various stages. The stage design system and method provides an automated procedure for stage design that efficiently, accurately, and with minimal human involvement partitions a wellbore along its length such that the fracture operation is optimized.
Abstract:
Sensor information is received from a set of sensors. First and second sets of machine monitoring data are generated from the sensor information. The first set of machine monitoring data is sent to a control system with a display in an operator compartment of a mobile machine. The second set of machine monitoring data is sent to a processing system that is separate from the control system.
Abstract:
A method and a system includes devices for remote operation of a device, especially a field device. The method may be executed on a system including a first device, especially a field device, which supplies data according to a display content, especially image data, to a second device, also a field device for visualizing the image data.

Abstract:
A portable display unit includes a serial port to connect to a device such as a vacuum network controller, cryopump, turbomolecular pump, gauges or compressor. In particular, the display unit can be plugged and unplugged to devices of different types. The portable display unit includes a display and control keys for programming, controlling and monitoring the functions of a device. The device accessible to the display unit includes a display interface having software code and files to interface with the display unit. Accordingly, the portable display unit can be used with any device having software code to interface with the display unit. The software code generates, refreshes and communicates menus to the portable display unit to provide graphical interface of the device's functions. The portable display unit further includes inner and outer hand grips so that the display unit can be held by hands of different sizes. The hand grips allow user with different hand sizes to firmly hold and navigate the display using control keys with fingers.
