摘要: An NC apparatus controls a position of a tool by driving a plurality of shafts with a plurality of servomotors. The shafts includes at least one clamp shaft that can be mechanically clamped or non-clamped. A clamp determining unit determines whether a state of the clamp shaft and outputs a signal based on the state. A correcting unit corrects a position instruction value or a position detection value of at least one shaft other than the clamp shaft based on the signal and a correction value so as to cancel an error in a position of the tool due to movement of the tool performed by the clamp shaft.

摘要: A servo control device (20) includes a position feedback unit (21) that performs position feedback control for matching the position of a driven unit to the position command for each of X, Y, and Z axes and a speed feed forward unit (22) that performs speed feed forward control, which is for compensating a delay in the position control for the driven unit due to position feedback control, for each axis. The servo control device (20) changes the position loop gain for each axis to the same value set in advance when the speed feed forward control is OFF, and changes the position loop gain based on the position feedback control to the optimal gain corresponding to each axis when the speed feed forward control of the speed feed forward unit (22) is ON.

摘要: A device ("RPLD") for providing automated alignment of a workpiece centerline with a machine tool centerline. RPLD 10 is designed for rigid attachment to various standard spindle designs, such as spindle 12. RPLD 10 includes a fixture 50, adapted to engage RPLD 10, for fixedly receiving workpiece 120. RPLD 10 incorporates a tilting plate 15 which allows for tilting of the fixture around three separate axis. Further, RPLD 10 incorporates cross-slide 30 for providing translational movement in a plane perpendicular to the machine tools centerline. A processing unit 60 receives data from a plurality of conventional transducers and, based on this data, activates the servo driven tilting plate and cross-slide so as to position the centerline of a workpiece to be both parallel and coincident with the centerline of a machine tool.

摘要: A control device of a die cushion mechanism, by which a force between a slide and a die cushion may follow a commanded value even in the rapid acceleration or deceleration of the slide and, moreover, a problem such as vibration of the mechanism may be prevented in the gradual acceleration or deceleration of the slide. The control device includes a slide position detecting part, such as a position sensor, for detecting the position of the slide and a correcting part for correcting a current commanded value using an acceleration of the slide, obtained by second-order differentiation of the position of the slide detected by the position sensor.

摘要: A servo controlled tool and stage positioning system. A circuit in the tool positioning servo control circuit removes unwanted glitches. Glitches are generated by servo control DACs when the servo is at rest. The circuit selectively blocks these glitches from being passed to the tool positioning circuit only when the stage is at rest.
