摘要: A temperature control apparatus is provided, which is capable of, even when it is necessary to perform control by means of valves in a plurality of channels, promptly controlling a temperature of an area to be temperature-controlled promptly to a desired temperature, while avoiding complication and enlargement of the apparatus as a whole. Passage and blockage of a heating medium passing through a first supply channel to a mixing channel, a temperature of the heating medium being controlled by a first temperature regulating unit at a predetermined temperature, and passage and blockage of a heating medium passing through a second supply channel to the mixing channel, a temperature of the heating medium being controlled by a second temperature regulating unit, are controlled by a valve unit. The valve unit includes a first spool valve and a second spool valve, which are coupled through a heat insulating layer.

A water flow control system for use in a shower environment is also provided, as well as a shower control system, methods for controlling water flow based on sensing of the presence and location of an object, and methods for reducing water consumption.

摘要: A shower head having a stem, a spray head coupled to the stem and including a plurality of outlets for discharging water into at least one spray pattern, and a mixing valve located within the stem. The mixing valve has a housing having a first inlet, a second inlet and an outlet; a first flow control valve for controlling the flow of a first fluid from the first inlet to the outlet; and a second flow control valve for controlling the flow of a second fluid from the second inlet to the outlet. The shower head also has a touchscreen user interface located on a surface of the shower head, wherein the touchscreen user interface allows a user to control at least one of a temperature or a flow rate of fluid from the outlet to the spray head by controlling the first and second flow control valves.

摘要: A mixing valve includes a cold water inlet, a hot water inlet, and an outlet, first and second flow control valves for controlling the flow of hot and cold water. Each of the first and second flow control valves include a valve inlet, first and second valve outlets communicating with the outlet, and a valve member assembly to control the flow of water through the first and second valve outlets. Each valve member assembly includes a first valve member configured to engage with a first valve seat and a second valve member configured to engage with a second, separate, valve seat. The first valve member is configured to be urged closed by water entering through the valve inlet and the second valve member is configured to be urged open by water entering through the valve inlet such that water exerts substantially no net force on the valve members.
