    摘要: A cold water cabinet (41) comprising a valve housing (22) intended for an ingoing pressure above 5 bars. The valve housing (22) is moulded in one unit and comprising therein a shut-off valve (2), a check valve (8), a control plug (12), a filter (13), and a combined pressure reduction valve (63) and water stop valve (30). The combined pressure reduction valve (63) and water stop valve (30) having a first spindle (26) with a plunger (28) at a first end. An opening between said plunger (28) and an associated seat (27) being controlled by a second spindle (29) and an adjustable spring (62) arranged at an opposite second end of said first spindle (26). The second spindle (29) being coupled to a motor (31), which is moving the plunger (28) against the seat (27) to close the water stop valve (30) when the motor receives a signal from at least one water leak sensor.

    摘要: A method, apparatus, and system for leak detection in a distribution network having consumption meters. The distribution network is divided into zones having an upstream location and a downstream location. An upstream pressure sensor detects the upstream pressure at the upstream location and the downstream pressure sensor detects the detected downstream pressure at the downstream location. A downstream pressure lookup table is used to determine an expected pressure at each downstream location based on a range of hypothetical upstream pressures at the corresponding upstream location and consumption data from the consumption meters. The expected pressure and the detected downstream pressure at each downstream location are compared to determine if the calculated discrepancy exceeds a discrepancy threshold. If a discrepancy exceeds a discrepancy threshold, a leak location lookup table containing a set of potential leak locations based on a range of hypothetical discrepancies is used to determine a set of probable leak locations.

    摘要: The present invention relates to apparatuses, systems, and methods that manage the flow of fluids, such as, for example, water, through pipes. Specifically, the apparatuses of the present invention creates a backward pressure in fluid traversing a pipe when the fluid meets a spring loaded poppet valve, wherein the backward pressure within the pipe provides compression to the fluid effectively compressing entrapped gas bubbles within the fluid. The pressure in front of the poppet valve builds and moves the poppet valve away from a seat allowing the fluid with compressed gas bubbles to flow therefrom, which provides more accurate water meter measurements because less gas is being considered in said measurements. Moreover, the apparatuses of the present invention provide backflow prevention. Systems and methods for managing fluids are further provided.

For the improved solution of these problems the present invention wants to indicate a direction-dependent regulation element (37; 41, 30) which with a flow (V) through the regulating valve (18) in one direction increases the flow coefficient Cv of the regulating valve (18) independently of the position of the setting member and with a flow through the regulating valve (18) in opposite direction does not cause an increase of the flow coefficient Cv.
