    摘要: An actuator includes a body displaceable between first and second positions, a holding mechanism for holding the body in the first position, and first and second shape memory alloy wires, the first wire being connected to the body, such that shortening the first wire moves the body from the second position to the first position. A biasing element biases the body for moving it from the first to the second position, the second wire having one end connected to the holding mechanism, such that shortening the second wire releases the holding mechanism for allowing the biasing element to move the body from the first position to the second position. An intermediate lever has one arm attached to the biasing element, and the other arm abutting a projection on the body, such that the force of the biasing element is transmitted to the body by the lever.

    摘要: A regulator with a hysteresis-affected characteristic curve has a manually operable actuating element for presetting a desired control variable, an axially displaceable control slide for adjusting the preset control variable and a control incline which is coupled to the actuating element. The control incline converts, by means of a rising control face, the adjustment movement of the actuating element into a axial displacement of the control slide. For the purpose of compensating the hysteresis when adjusting a control a variable such that the same control variable is brought about by rotating the actuating element to the left or to the right into the same setting, the control incline bears a toothing along its control face. Each tooth has, in two planes which extend along the displacement direction of the control face and are perpendicular to one another, a sawtooth-like contour with in each case a rising edge for running up the control slide and a falling edge which follows in the displacement direction. Each tooth contour is associated with one of the two displacement directions. Each tooth contour is associated with one of the two displacement direction of the control incline and deflects the control slide in the axial direction or transversely thereto.

    摘要: An operation member slidably supported on a base plate has opposed pawls which are spaced apart and project toward one another. A position control cam and an integral supplementary cam are rotatably supported on the base between the two pawls. The pawls are disposed on different planes so that a first pawl is engageable with the control cam and the second pawl is engageable with the supplementary cam. The operation member is spring biased in a direction to move the first pawl toward the position control cam. The position control cam is provided alternately with deep concaves and shallow concaves. When the first pawl of the operation member engages in a deep concave it is in one position. When it engages a shallow concave it is in a second position. The supplementary cam has teeth at positions corresponding to the concaves of the position control cam. When the operation member is slidably moved in a direction opposite to the spring bias, the second pawl engages a tooth of the supplementary cam so as to rotate the supplementary cam and the position control cam to a new position. For example starting with the first pawl in a deep concave, sliding the operation member against the bias spring causes the second pawl to engage a tooth of the supplementary cam and thereby rotate the cams so that when the operation member is released the first pawl engages in a shallow concave of the position control cam and the operation member is thus in a different position.

    摘要: Shift mechanism is provided for transmissions, and particularly small transmissions used on riding lawn mowers, garden tractors, and the like. The shift mechanism has a pivotable shift lever which requires the operator to interrupt the motion of the lever when shifting from neutral to reverse and from neutral to each forward speed, the interruption requiring releasing the lever or even reversing it slightly. This enables the operator to know by feel what gear the transmission is in. At the same time, the transmission can quickly be shifted from reverse to neutral or from any forward speed down to or toward neutral without interruption. The shift mechanism includes the movable shift lever, a carrier engaged by the shift lever and having a predetermined path of movement, a pawl member pivotally carried by the carrier, and a stop member engageable by the pawl member to control the movement of the carrier, the pawl member, and the lever.
