    摘要: A overload protection mechanism protects a driven load, such as a driven lever. An overload lever is pivotally coupled to a first part of the driven load. The overload lever has a first end that receives an applied force and an opposing second end. A zero length spring mechanism is coupled to a second part of the driven load spaced apart from the first part and to the second end of the overload lever. The zero length spring mechanism urges the second end of the overload lever toward the second part of the driven load with a force that is substantially proportional to the distance between the second end of the overload lever and the second part of the driven load. A stop mechanism is coupled to the zero length spring mechanism to maintain a minimum distance between the second end of the overload lever and the second part of the driven load.

    摘要: A manual adjustable pedal assembly includes a throttle pedal assembly having a throttle pedal adjustment mechanism and a brake pedal assembly having a brake pedal adjustment mechanism. The manual adjustable pedal assembly also includes a manual adjusting means having a rotatable adjustment means, an outer ring gear disposed in a center portion of the rotatable adjustment means, and a first inner gear and a second inner gear operatively in communication with the outer ring gear. The manual adjustable pedal assembly further includes a throttle drive cable, wherein one end of the throttle drive cable is operatively secured to the first inner gear, and the other end of the drive cable is secured to the throttle adjustment mechanism. The manual adjustable pedal assembly still further includes a brake drive cable, wherein one end of the brake drive cable is operatively secured to the second inner gear, and the other end of the drive cable is secured to the brake adjustment mechanism, for simultaneous adjustment of both the brake pedal and the throttle pedal.

    摘要: An apparatus is provided for sequentially actuating a pair of valves used to control a flow of brake fluid in a vehicle. Each valve is yieldably biased toward a normal position. The apparatus includes an actuation member that is tiltable in response to movement of a piezoelectric member to accomplish sequential operation of the valve pair, the actuating member being tiltable during a first adjustment stroke counter to the force of the first valve spring about a first axis of rotation defined by a bearing point fixed to the housing and by a compression spring in order to actuate the first valve and move the first tappet to a selected position. The actuating member is also tiltable during a second adjustment stroke counter to the force of the compression spring about a second axis of rotation defined by the bearing point fixed to the housing and by the moved first tappet in order to actuate the second valve.

    摘要: A mechanical actuating device for hydraulic control valves having complex control functions, which can be assembled from individual units in a modular system, each of which has valve bodies which can be operated by longitudinal displacement in a housing that can be joined to the housing of the adjacent module. The actuating device for each module has a cam control member rotatably mounted in a cam housing which can be placed on the module housing and which can be brought into engagement with the ends of the valve bodies protruding from the module housing. The cam control members of all individual modules are disposed with aligned axes of rotation, and a coupling is provided for the co-rotational joining together of the cam control members of adjacent modules in selectable relative angular positions to one another.
