Components and features are included in the mower, the remote control unit, or both to enhance the safety, functionality, or user experience of the system's user/operator. Aspects of the invention relate to: an enable switch on the remote control unit that requires activation within a specified time before activating a drive system or PTO unit; sharing diagnostic information between the mower and remote control unit and emitting user-detectable warnings in response to the shared information; reducing a danger level of the system when a proximity between the mower and the remote control unit is too small; and using inclinometers in the mower and the remote control unit to control operation of the mower based on tilt angles of both the mower and the remote control unit.

    摘要: A joystick assembly for a working machine having a working arm includes a controller configured to control a plurality of machine functions, a first electronic joystick in communication with the controller, and actuators in communication with the controller. Each actuator is configured to actuate a function associated with the working arm. The first electronic joystick comprises four axes of movement, and the first electronic joystick is configured to transmit electronic signals to the controller in response to being displaced along an axis from a neutral position. The controller is configured to receive the electronic signals from the first electronic joystick, and to transmit an electrical signal to one or more actuators to actuate the actuators. The joystick assembly is configured such that the controller actuates a different actuator for controlling a different function associated with the working arm, dependent upon the axis of displacement of the first electronic joystick.

    摘要: Disclosed is a computer implemented method of interrogating volumetric data, the method including the steps of: defining a reference surface relative to the volumetric data; providing an interrogation window lying in a movable interrogation plane intersecting the reference surface and the interrogation window intersecting the volumetric data, said interrogation plane having a pole lying in it about which pole said interrogation plane is rotatable, wherein movement of the interrogation plane provides a corresponding movement of the interrogation window; for each movement of the interrogation plane, determining the point of intersection of said pole and said reference surface, determining the relative angle of rotation of said interrogation plane about said pole and determining the angle of inclination of said pole to said reference surface; and on the basis of said determinations, providing a sectional image through the volumetric data corresponding to the position of the interrogation window within the volumetric data. Also disclosed is a computer system for implementing the method according to any one of the preceding claims, the system includes a processor for performing the steps of the method and a visual display for displaying said sectional image.

    摘要: A device and software system with input and output capability for manipulating real and virtual objects in 3-dimensional space. The device consists of a six degree-of-freedom mechanical armature that has sensors to determine the location and orientation of a stylus and planar surface. In the input mode, manipulation of the physical armature will result in a corresponding two-dimensional, virtual image of the stylus and surface on a computer screen. The armature also has motors to automatically change the armature location and orientation in order to generate a physical representation in the real world of the location and orientation of a virtual object. The armature is built so that it maintains balance at any location and orientation to statically maintain the armature location and orientation without drifting to a null rest position.

The inventive input device comprises a frame (10, as well as a support element (30) mobile relative to the frame (10), and including a grip member (70), the frame (10) and the support element (30) being coupled with several linear force-sensitive actuators (20,21) articulated on both sides to the frame and to the support element. The invention is characterized in that the support element (30) includes a grip member (71) mobile relative to the first grip member (70) and at least one grip member (70,71) is coupled with a force-sensitive grip actuator (90). According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, six linear actuators (20,21) form two interlaced tripods whereof the tips are articulated to the support element (30) and are further mobile relative to each other in the direction of the support element, such that the grip actuator (90) is replaced by all six linear actuators (20,21). In another embodiment, an additional degree of rotational freedom is provided by means of a step motor (80).

The final linking member also includes an arched section that extends over and cradles the outer palm of the hand when the hand is in the palm up configuration. The user reaches around the outside (to the right for a right arm controller) to grasp the hand grip.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a haptic joystick system that is used with a computer system. The system according to the present invention includes the mechanism comprising the first link work and the second link work that respectively conduct 3 degree-of-freedom independently and are serially connected to each other. Therefore the said mechanism conducts 6 degree-of-freedom. The said mechanism is provided at its base plane with sensors and actuators, whereby not being affected by the inertia of the sensors and the actuators. Also, in the system according to the present invention, the first link work conducts 3 degree-of-freedom among the overall 6 degree-of-freedom that are frequently used in its application, and the second link work conducts another 3 degree-of-freedom. Thereby, the system according to the present invention can achieve the enhanced performance related to the energy effectiveness and the controllability.
