    摘要: A method and system for rendering rectangle drawing objects are provided. For at least a first rectangle drawing object and a second rectangle drawing object, a determination is made if the second rectangle drawing object satisfies a predetermined condition with respect to the first rectangle drawing object. If the predetermined condition is satisfied, one-line raster image data associated with the second rectangle drawing object is generated and stored in a data buffer. The one-line raster image data indicates a filling color of the second rectangle drawing object over a first extent in a first direction. Subsequently, the one-line raster image data may be used a number of times over a second extent in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction to fill a drawing region corresponding to at least the second rectangle drawing object.

One pass assembly in raster image processing of the elements occurs when the recurring elements are blitted into memory and the variable elements are RIPped on the fly.

Users require different types of printed objects to have different characteristics. By extracting, analyzing and conditioning data generated during a printing stream, the various regions of text, graphics and photographic images on a sheet are distinguished, characterized, and printed. The resulting hardcopy output has a custom balancing of color which is pleasing to the human eye for each type of image printed, and which has print characteristics tailored for the specific elements on the page.

    摘要: An integrated graphics manipulation program that employs a technique of rasterizing EPS files during import and using this rasterized version as a "proxy image" for display of an on-screen image. When a document containing a EPS data is printed to a PS printer, the actual EPS data is sent to the printer. If the document is printed to a non-PS printer, the rasterized proxy representation of the EPS data is used. The effect that this has is that the on-screen representation of the EPS data (the rasterized proxy image) is a high quality representation of the EPS data. The original EPS data may be re-rasterized at a new scale to generate a new proxy image whenever a user resizes the proxy image on the display. This results in an on-screen representation that more closely resembles the printed output to a PS printer. The EPS data also may be re-rasterized at a new scale to generate a new proxy image whenever a user zooms in to or out of a document. This would give the desired effect of reducing aliasing that occurs when a static rasterized image is zoomed. With this approach, the EPS proxy image becomes a dynamic on-screen representation of the original EPS data. The preferred "native" file format for any program implementing the invention remains vector-based, so that the highest quality image is always available regardless of printer type.
