    摘要: The apparatus has a transparent casing and an oblong toroidal shape in the form of a bucket elevator. First and second vertical compartments are separated by a partition and a clear cylindrical passage is formed around the circumference of the apparatus. First and a second sheaves are mounted above one another along the partition. A flexible loop is mounted around the sheaves and a series of balloons attached to the flexible loop at spaced intervals. The first compartment is opened to ambient air. The lower region is filled with argon gas and the second compartment is filled with helium gas. The balloons are filled with the helium gas such that the balloons have buoyancy in the first compartment and heaviness in the second compartment, and the pool of argon gas impedes the diffusion of ambient air in the second compartment.

    摘要: An ultrasonic Doppler flow phantom is described which is formed of tissue-mimicking material containing a plurality of fluid flow paths through which fluid is pumped. The fluid flow paths are made of tubing and each extends over a different portion of the depth of the phantom and at a different angle. Each path is individually accessible by a probe located on the simulated skin surface at the top of the phantom, enabling the performance of the probe to be evaluated over a wide range of depths from shallow to very deep and over several flow angles.

The upper surface includes a guide running from the first send to the second end. A vertical shaft extends from the second end of the base. A horizontal shaft extends from a top end of the vertical shaft towards the first end of the base. The present invention further includes a slide frame and an orbital displacement disc. The slide frame includes a bottom and a top. A rail is formed on the bottom. The rail slidably engages with the guide. A first magnet is secured to the top. The orbital displacement disc hangs from the horizontal shaft above the slide frame by at least one cord. The orbital displacement ring includes a second magnet.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a test apparatus for early landslide detection fully-connected with pore water pressure, surface displacement and shear surface. The test apparatus calculates a factor of safety of a slope based on variation in pore water pressure, surface displacement and shear surface of a soil mass, and predicts a change in factor of safety, thus making early landslide detection possible. In the test apparatus, while a container of a slider is moved with a soil mass loaded into the container, shear surface and surface displacement environment is provided, and the shear strength and the shear stress of the soil mass can be calculated based on the pore water pressure and the weight of the soil mass. Thereby, the factor of safety of the soil mass can be calculated, and early landslide detection can be realized by using variation of the factor of safety of the slope.
