摘要： A story-telling toy device providing for selection of a number of recorded message segments to be played in a plurality of different combinations, each recorded message segment being attributable to a particular visual image in a series of visual images. The recorded messages and visual images may be arranged and locked in any combination to play a particular series. The device includes several rotatably mounted concentric recording surfaces, each of which contains a plurality of recorded messages on spirally interleaved sound tracks. An identical number of rotatably mounted concentric rings, each of which contains a plurality of visual images correlated with the sound tracks, are adjustable with the rotatable concentric recording surfaces. In use, the visual images are aligned in a particular series or sequence and the device audibly reproduces a message or ''''story'''' descriptive of or correlated to the series of visual images.

摘要： A simplified sound reproducing device having external output shafts disposed beneath the plane of rotation of the record disc at positions corresponding to the end point of sound reproduction of each record groove and which actuate predetermined external components corresponding to the record groove's recorded content previously reproduced. A transmission selectively connects a center pin to each of the external output shafts. This transmission includes a driving wheel fixed around the center pin, a revolvable bearing frame member carrying a planetary shaft and capable of rotation together with the center pin when engaged with a coupling member, a planetary gear wheel supported by the planetary shaft capable of rotational and axial movement; and pair of guide members allowing said planetary wheel to mesh with the driving wheel and fixedly disposed to the center pin, one at a position axially in front of and the other axially behind the driving wheel to hold the planetary wheel from both sides and to urge it to move axially with the driving wheel, driven wheels fixedly coupled to the external output shafts capable of meshing with the planetary wheel when the driving wheel and the planetary wheel are in an advanced position, and out of engagement with the planetary wheel, when the driving wheel and the planetary wheel are in a retracted position. The coupling member is constructed such that the revolvable bearing frame member can be stopped, regardless of the rotation of the center pin, when the center pin is in an advanced position.

摘要： A simplified sound reproducing device having a record disc 5 having a plurality of record grooves is driven by a constant torque spring motor 2. A turntable 3 and the record disc 5 are frictionally assembled so that relative slippage occurs between them in the direction of their rotation when an extra force is applied to the system. A sound reproducing member 10, applying a stylus pressure to a pickup 6, has a holding piece attached thereto which contacts the reverse face of the record disc 5 and stops its rotation when the sound transmitting member 10 is lifted up by tension exerted by a stretched pull string 14, when the string 14 is pulled to wind the constant torque spring motor. By virtue of this construction, the angle of rotation of the turntable 3 and the record disc 5, are shifted from each other so that the introductory part of the record groove, next to the one just completed, can be placed under the pickup 6 now returned to the starting point of sound reproduction, and played.

摘要： A sound reproducing device is disclosed in which an index tracking portion formed on a record disc consists of a notch on the continuous flange of rotational periphery of a record disc unit. A center pin of the device is normally urged outside of a casing by a spring which also urges an index setting arm with a push button type index setting rotary knob supported on the tip end of said center pin. An index setting portion consists of a plurality of openings formed in the casing and arranged along the rotational plane of said record disc unit. The index setting arm has a resilient engaging hook on its lower tip end, the engaging hook directed toward the rotational cetner of the record disc unit. The engaging hook engages with the flange of the record disc unit where a specific index setting portion is selected by rotation of the push button type index setting knob. Pushing the index setting knob down makes the engaging hook pass through an index setting openings. The center pin keeps a speaker unit out of engagement with a pickup such that the pickup returns to the starting point of sound reproduction. The engaging hook returns through the index tracking portion when the index tracking portion comes on the engaging hook by rotational movement of the record disc unit, causing the center pin to retract so as to impart stylus pressure to the stylus by returning the speaker unit by a stylus pressure spring.

摘要： A slit for inserting a record disc is formed through a casing of a selective play type of sound reproduction device and made parallel to a record disc carrying face of a turn table inside the casing. A sound transmitting member carries a pair of stylus force releasing projections disposed at the inlet portion of the slit. Within the casing, a centering projection is positioned and resiliently supported near the center of the slit. Both the centering projection and the stylus force releasing projections extend to intersect the slit. A resiliently protruding record disc locking projection is disposed on the record disc carrying face, while the record disc is formed to have a notch engageable with the record disc locking projection.

摘要： A simplified sound reproducing device having external output shafts disposed beneath the plane of rotation of a record disc and at positions corresponding to the starting point of sound reproduction of each record groove. Each of the external output shafts actuates predetermined external components for action corresponding to the content of the recorded item in the record groove. A transmission is provided for connecting a center pin to each of the external output shafts. The transmission includes a driving wheel fixed around the center pin, a revolvable bearing frame member which is journally connected for rotation with the center pin when under engagement with a coupling member, a planetary shaft carried by the revolvable bearing frame member, a planetary gear wheel supported by the planetary shaft capable of movement in an axial direction and rotated by meshing with the driving wheel. A pair of guide members fixedly disposed to the center pin, one positioned axially in front of and the other behind the driving wheel to hold the planetary wheel from both sides and to urge it to move axially together with the driving wheel, and driven wheels fixedly coupled to each external output shaft capable of meshing with the planetary wheel only when the pickup is supplied with stylus pressure. A coupling member is constructed such that the planetary shaft can be stationary, regardless of the rotation of the center pin, when the pickup is loaded with stylus pressure.

摘要： A record engraving apparatus having a table with a vacuum source for retaining thereon a master lacquer with portions thereon having pre-recorded disc-shaped record portions. The rotatable table is precisely positionable in all directions of the plane of the table as well as in orthogonal directions, and includes provision for mounting the master lacquer with the center thereof in one of at least two locations depending on the center of the record portions relative to the master lacquer. A vertically adjustable arm is provided with a turret head having thereon a plurality of heated sapphire cutters of different sizes, each of which may be indexed into position. The arm is adjustable in a direction orthogonal to the plane of the table to provide variations in depths of cuts.
