    摘要: Provided an error compensating method for an instrument transformer, in which an error of an instrument transformer is compensated by reflecting hysteresis characteristics of iron core. When such error compensation is performed, a hysteresis loop indicating the relationship between magnetic flux and excitation current is not used as it is, but core-loss resistances and magnetic flux-excitation current curves are used, thereby achieving more precise compensation. According to the present invention, an error of an instrument transformer can be significantly reduced. Therefore, it is possible to manufacture an instrument transformer with high accuracy and to significantly reduce the size of the instrument transformer. Further, a material with high permeability does not need to be used in order to increase the accuracy.

The monitor also includes a sensor arranged in the housing, which is positioned to generate digital data associated with at least one environmental condition that exists inside the distribution transformer vessel, and a processing circuit arranged to determine from the generated digital data that the at least one environmental condition has crossed a threshold. The sensor may include any one or more of a temperature sensor, a camera, an accelerometer, a pressure sensor, and a microphone. The housing of the distribution transformer monitor may include at least one indicator legend arranged to facilitate positioning of the housing in a substantially vertical orientation relative to the distribution transformer vessel.

    摘要: The split magnetic core or hook-on magnetic core of an alternating current measuring apparatus carries two separate and independent coils. By hooking the core on one-phase conductor of a three-phase electrical circuit and by supplying one coil with compensating current derived from the other phase conductors, the power factor of the circuit may be read on a meter connected to the other coil. By means of a suitable switching system, the core-coil-meter arrangement may also be used to measure either voltage or current in single-phase or polyphase circuits.
