摘要： The present invention is an electrical switchgear unit in a case and including at least one stationary contact and at least one movable contact supported by a contact support shaft, an opening and/or closing mechanism of the movable contact(s) fitted in a support, the mechanism including a manual operating handle of the contact(s) rotatable around a toggle pin of the case, and a high-speed closing shaft designed to keep the movable contact(s) in the open position, at the beginning of manual closing of the handle and over a certain travel, by storing energy and to release the movable contact(s) after travel of the handle so that the stored energy causes high-speed closing of the contacts. On one of its side faces, the device includes the support of the mechanism which includes an opening to accommodate at least a part of the high-speed closing shaft, which is inserted laterally at least partially into the support prior to fixing of the shaft inside the case, and the means for fixing said support inside the case is located on one side of the mechanism.

An independent operating handle link has a first end and a second end, is pivotally mounted to the second pivot at the first end thereof, and is pivotally mounted to the first pivot at the second end thereof.

The operating mechanism includes a closed position, an open position, an operating handle for moving the operating mechanism between the open and closed positions, a movable contact arm carrying the movable contact, a linkage having a first end and a second end, and a snap lever. The second end of the linkage is pivotally mounted to the movable contact arm. The snap lever holds the linkage in the open position of the operating mechanism and releases the linkage as the operating handle moves from the open position toward the closed position of the operating mechanism, in order to snap close the separable contacts.

The unit is fabricated inside a cover 1b of a circuit breaker body. Here, the cam and the ratchet are formed as common parts, and the driving spring is selected in accordance with the kind of circuit breaker.

摘要： An operation mechanism of a circuit breaker which allows either automatic or manual operation of the circuit breaker. The mechanism includes a moving contact lever, a hook lever, a handle, a pair of toggle links connecting the hook lever and the moving contact lever, an operation lever linked to the handle, and a spring connected between the operation lever and a joint of the toggle links. The operation mechanism may also include opening and closing delay latches which preclude movement of the toggle links until the handle has been fully turned to either one of two positions.

摘要： A circuit breaker comprising an electrically insulating housing, an overcurrent sensor in the housing, a stationary and a movable contact in the housing, and a latch mechanism coupled to the movable contact. The latch mechanism is tripped in response to a sensed overcurrent; an overcenter spring is coupled to the movable contact for opening and closing the contacts with a snap action when the latch mechanism is tripped. An elongated handle member extends through a handle opening in the housing and is movable axially between a contacts open position and a contacts closed position. Handle link means couples the handle member to the latch mechanism and translates a longitudinal movement of the handle member into a rotational movement of the handle link to urge the latch mechanism into the contacts closed position. The handle link means is also operable to retain the handle member in its second position upon manual movement of the handle member from its first to its second position and for permitting tripping of the latch mechanism and opening of the contacts independently of movement of the handle member. The handle member also has means associated therewith to inhibit rotational movement of the handle member while permitting longitudinal movement.
