    摘要: A method of assembling a switch device with a means for supporting it. The supporting means includes at least one face having a set of bosses thereon, and each boss has a free end and a ledge intermediate the free end and the at least one face. The switch device has an actuating lever with a pair of generally opposite trunnions thereon, and a set of terminals of the switch device each have a deformed end section. In practicing this method, the opposite trunnions of the actuating lever are seated on the ledges of at least some of the bosses. The terminals are associated in preselected positions therefor on a supporting means, and the deformed end sections of the terminals are disposed in overlaying spaced apart relation with at least the ledges on the at least some bosses thereby to capture the opposite trunnions between the at least some bosses and the terminals, respectively.

An enclosures overlays the switch device and includes a pair of at least partially overlapping cover segments associated with the body for extending in part in enclosing relation about the switch device. Aligned passages extend through the pair of cover segments for the extension therethrough of a part of the actuating lever exteriorly of the pair of cover segments. A movable seat strip spans the passages and is associated in sealing relation with the pair of cover segments and the actuating lever part for accommodating the movement of the actuating lever while maintaining the sealing relationship.

    摘要: In a method of assembling a dynamoelectric machine, a set of pads on a terminal board are inserted into assembly positions in engagement with a set of slots in one end of a housing for the dynamoelectric machine, and the pads are in part overlaid with the housing about the slots therein. The terminal board is positioned in a preselected position therefor within the housing, and a peripheral portion of the terminal board is disposed at least generally adjacent the housing therewithin when the pads are in their assembly positions. An end frame is mounted in an assembly on the housing in engagement with the one end thereof so as to retain the pads against displacement from the assembly positions thereof past the one end of the housing.A dynamoelectric machine, methods of assembling a switch device with a means for supporting it, and a terminal board assembly are also disclosed.

    摘要: A terminal block assembly for an electrically energized device. The terminal block assembly has a housing, and a plurality of predeterminately spaced male terminals are mounted to the housing with spade portions extending from the housing. Means adapted for removable mounting with the male terminals has a casing containing a plurality of female terminals. The female terminals respectively include: a strip of electrical conductive material; opposite end portions on the strip respectively comprising a generally cylindric section and means for electrical connection with an electrical lead; and a bore in the cylindric section having a generally continuous circumferential portion for electrical contacting engagement with a respective one of the spade portions. A plurality of openings are predeterminately spaced in the casing for receiving the spade portions and include means engaged generally about the cylindrical sections of the female terminals for predeterminately positioning the bores thereof with respect to the openings. A plurality of means in said casing intersecting with the positioning means are provided for confining engagement with the other ends of the strips to generally prevent rotational displacement of the cylindric sections with respect to the openings. The spade portions are received in constant electrical contacting engagement across the circumferential portions irrespective of any diametral positions the spade portions extend through the openings into the bores when the removable mounting means is mounted with the male terminals.A multiple connector assembly is also disclosed.
