    摘要: An overcurrent switching device for an electric circuit to be monitored, which has interrupter contact means (14) constructed in such a manner that an interruption of the electric circuit is effected as a reaction to the exceeding of a predetermined current threshold, wherein the interrupter contact means have an expansion unit (16) realised by means of a magnetically active shape memory alloy material, which is loaded by a magnetic field (18) of a current flowing in the electric circuit, characterized in that the expansion unit (16; 30; 32; 34) mechanically driving a contact, particularly an interrupter contact (14), is provided adjacently to a coil-free current-carrying conductor section (10) of the electric circuit for magnetic interaction in such a manner that above the predetermined current threshold, a current flow in the current carrying conductor section generates a magnetic field which effects an expansion movement of the expansion unit which interrupts the electric circuit.

    摘要: A tripping device (1) for circuit breakers comprising a thermally influenceable wire-shaped tripping element (4) is presented, one end of which is attached to a rotatably supported tripping lever (3) which is under spring force and the other end of which is fixed in location. The thermally influenced lateral movement at one end of the tripping element (4) causes the unlatching of the circuit breaker. At the free end of the tripping lever (3), a locking element (11) is provided which engages a cam (10) of a contact lever (2) which is under spring force, in such a manner that the circuit breaker is switched off both with contraction and with expansion of the tripping element (4).

There is a non-SME spring which also acts on the armature but in a direction opposing the SME spring. The current is passed through the SME spring and, when it becomes excessive, the armature is urged both mechanically and electromagnetically in a tripping direction.

    摘要: A switch includes conductive first and second prongs that have upper portions located within a switch casing and lower portions exposed therefrom, a button mounted pivotally on the casing having a protrusion rod and a connection rod connected to the protrusion rod; and an alloy plate disposed within the casing having one end connected securely to the upper portion of the second prong and a free end operably connected to the connection rod. The free end is provided with an upper electrical contact in alignment with a lower electrical contact of the first prong. An elastic member has a first straight abutment portion in resiliently abutment against a fixing element within the casing, a second straight that resiliently abuts against the free end of the alloy plate, whereby, the alloy plate is displaced from its initial position when an overload current flows through the switch in a switch-on position.
