摘要： A method and a device are disclosed for the secure operation of a switching device including at least two main contacts which can be switched on and off and which includes respectively, contact pieces and a displaceable contact bridge, and at least one control magnet which includes a displaceable anchor. The anchor acts upon the contact bridge when it is switched on and off such that the corresponding main contact is opened or closed. At least one embodiment of the inventive method includes the following steps: a) release device for a force element remains in a first state in order to interrupt the main contact as long as the main contacts are closed when switched on and open when switched off, and b) the release device are transferred into a second state if at least the main contact is welded after switching off.

A pair of actuating rods is mechanically coupled to the driving means of all the switching bars, and cooperates with connecting rods of the operating mechanism to perform movement of the actuating rods in translation in opposite directions when moving from the open position to the closed position, and vice-versa, said elongate actuating rods extending parallel to one another in a horizontal plane perpendicular to the different rotary studs.

摘要： In a circuit breaker, an arc is produced between a pair of switchable contact members when these contact members are opened due to overcurrent. An arc extinguishing apparatus is employed to extinguish an arc produced between the opened contact members. The arc extinguishing apparatus includes a plurality of U-shaped metal arc extinguishing plates which are stacked, and a pair of insulating plates made of a synthetic resin. These insulating plates are mounted on both inside surfaces of leg portions of the extinguishing plates.

By a new mechanical design, the installation of the arc quenching devices is to be facilitated. All arc quenching chambers of a switchgear are arranged in a quenching chamber housing which is subdivided by partitions and is fastened to the insulating material housing of a circuit breaker. The quenching baffles are fastened directly to the walls of the arc quenching chambers. A low-voltage circuit breaker with an insulating material housing of compact design is thus provided.
