    摘要: A spacer, which is an atmospheric pressure resistant structure for a vacuum container, can be easily assembled, and the manufacturing costs that accompany the installation of the spacer are reduced. A rear plate, which includes a substrate on which electron-emitting devices are mounted, is located opposite a face plate that is irradiated by electrons emitted by the electron-emitting devices, so that together these two units constitute one part of the vacuum container. A spacer is positioned as an atmospheric pressure resistant structure in the vacuum container. Blocks are bonded to both ends of the spacer, and with these blocks, the spacer is self-supported. Both ends of the spacer are tapered, and are used to reduce the stress that is imposed on the bottoms of the spacer and the blocks by the rear plate and the face plate while air is discharged from the vacuum container.

    摘要: A luminous lamp having an ultraviolet filtering and explosion-proof thin film is disclosed. An outside of a lamp is coated by a transparent layer which comprises phosphor powder. Energy generated by the lamp is absorbed by the phosphor powder while the lamp is shining. The phosphor powder would release energy to shot brilliance, so as to provide auxiliary lighting after turning off the lamp. Additionally, the phosphor powder can absorb harmful ultraviolet and other harmful radiations with shorter wavelengths to be one part of the thin film for filtering harmful radiations. The harmful ultraviolet can be transformed by the phosphor powder into visible light to red shift radiations with short wavelengths; hence the harmful radiations with shorter wavelengths can be eliminated. The illumination of visible light can be further increased. The transparent layer can catch broken fragments of the outside of the lamp to decrease accidents when the lamp is broken.

    摘要: An electric lamp is provided having an outer envelope or jacket with a lamp base attached thereto, the lamp base having an aperture extending therethrough. A sealed inner capsule is supported within the outer envelope and electrically connected to the lamp base and to an electrically conductive elongated member one end of which engages an inner wall of the outer envelope and an opposite end of which extends through the aperture in the lamp base. A spring is provided which urges the one end of the elongated member against the inner wall and which will urge the opposite end of the elongated member out of the aperture if the envelope is broken thereby disconnecting voltage to a lead of the inner capsule.
