摘要: Provided herein an apparatus for generating plasma, the apparatus including a nozzle array, first electrode, and housing. The nozzle discharges plasma. The first electrode is disposed to surround the nozzle array. The housing is disposed to surround the nozzle array and first electrode. The nozzle includes a plurality of nozzles disposed adjacent to one another and in the form of an array, each nozzle configured to discharge plasma. Therefore, it is possible to generate a large size plasma evenly and stably.

摘要: An active matrix liquid crystal display (AMLCD) system is for use in avionic applications. The system includes an integral cathode fall indicator. The indicator relies on a gas fill mixture to provide an orange glow when the cathode fall region has an abnormally high potential across it. During normal operation, the gas fill mixture provides a light blue glow. The gas mixture includes helium, neon, argon, krypton, and xenon.

摘要: An oxygen detector for use in a double envelope lamp is described. The detector may be formed by nitriding a metal surface to produce a metal piece with a first visual color or state. The surface thickness is sufficient to exclude oxygen during normal assemble, but thin enough to change colors during lamp operation if oxygen is present.

摘要: A thermal dosage indicator for an electric lamp provides real time indication of time and temperature exposure of the lamp. In one version, a coating on a designated portion of the lamp changes color upon exposure to different combinations of time and temperature. In another version, a semiconductor is mounted on the surface at a designated location on the lamp and the electrical properties of the semi conductor monitored to give an indication of thermal dosage exposure. In another version, a carbon cell of predetermined dimension is mounted on the lamp surface and is monitored at specified intervals to determine dimensional changes from thermal sublimation to give an indication of thermal dosage.
