    摘要: A bandpass filter is described herein. The bandpass filter has two parallel signal branches, each connected, on an input side, to an input node and, on an output side, to an output node. The two signal branches form a ring resonator, having a wave mode with a complex amplitude of ŪCW=|Ū|exp{−jφCW} propagating in a clockwise direction and a wave mode with a complex amplitude of ŪCCW=|ŪCCW|exp{−jφCCW} propagating in a counterclockwise direction. The vector sum of a resulting wave Ūout at the output node of the bandpass filter at two or more stop frequencies is: Ūout=ŪCW+ŪCCW=0, and |ŪCW|=|UCCW| and |φCW−φCCW|=180°. The stop frequencies are arranged such that a passband is formed between two stop frequencies.

    摘要: A current gain filter including an electrical circuit containing a number of passive elements which divide the current flow from a current generator into several current components whose vector sum is greater than the input current from the current generator. In one form of the invention, resistive and capacitive elements are utilized; in a second form, resistive and inductive elements are utilized; and in a third form, the circuit contains resistive, capacitive and inductive elements. For each form of the invention, a transfer function can be derived which contains several independent parameters by means of which the ratio of output current to input current and the phase angle therebetween can be calculated.

    摘要: A method, computer program product, and computer system for determining a magnitude and phase of a spurious-free dynamic range component. A first signal and a second signal may be received from a first source operatively connected to a differential component. A first output associated with the first signal and a second output associated with the second signal may be nulled. The first signal and the second signal may be shorted. A second source operatively connected to the differential component may be disconnected. The first signal of the first source may be applied at a same phase as the second source with an additional phase delta, +Yo. A first differential residual signal may be measured using the first signal at the same phase as the second source with the additional phase delta, +Yo. The second signal of the first source may be applied at the same phase as the second source with an additional phase delta, −Yo. A second differential residual signal may be measured using the second signal at the same phase as the second source with the additional phase delta, −Yo. The magnitude and phase of the distortion component of the first source may be determined based upon, at least in part, the first and second differential residual signal.

    摘要: This invention relates to a flexible notch filter for use in a servo system to eliminate natural mechanical resonance. The filter is an improved "twin-T" type where the "in-phase" output of the filter is fed back into the filter. Varying the feedback varies the bandwidth of the filter. The improved filter further provides for attenuation control in addition to control of the center frequency of the filter. The advantage of this filter over prior art designs is that one filter may be manufactured and adapted to be used in many servo systems since the filter can be easily adjusted to effectively eliminate the natural resonating frequency of the machine in addition to reducing phase lag at frequencies below the center frequency of the notch filter.
