    摘要: In an embodiment a device includes a first circuit and a second circuit, wherein the first circuit is configured to generate a fourth signal and a fifth signal by applying the phase shift respectively to a first signal and to a second signal and deliver a sixth signal corresponding to a sampling over one bit of the fourth signal, a seventh signal corresponding to a sampling over one bit of the fifth signal, an eighth signal corresponding to a sampling over one bit of a difference between the fourth and fifth signals, and a ninth signal corresponding to a sampling over one bit of a sum between the fourth and fifth signals, wherein the second circuit is configured to receive the sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth signals and determine, during a first phase where the first and second signals are representative of a first known symbol of a QPSK constellation, a state of a first bit from among a first state and a second state based on the eighth and ninth signals.

    摘要: A method of operating frequency shift keying (FSK) demodulator for demodulating symbols includes providing current and previous buffered portions of an input signal to correlation circuits of the FSK demodulator, where each buffered portion persists for a symbol duration time period. The correlation circuits output first correlation metrics that indicate a likelihood of whether the buffered portions match a respective target pattern. The first correlation metrics are combined into a set of first correlation results, which are delayed by at least the symbol duration time period. The current and next buffered portions are provided to the correlation circuits, which output second correlation metrics that are combined into a set of second correlation results. The set of second correlation results are combined with the delayed set of first correlation results to produce a demodulation decision that indicates a most likely symbol value encoded in the current buffered portion.

The signal includes a number of symbols belonging to a set of M symbols respectively associated with at least one frequency of a set of M frequencies. The method includes a phase of reading each symbol of the signal that includes a sampling of a signal portion corresponding to the duration of a symbol and delivering N samples (M being less than N). M individual discrete Fourier transform processing operations are performed on the N samples. Each individual processing operation is associated with each of the frequencies. The M individual processing operations deliver M processing results. The value of the symbol can be determined from the M processing results.

    摘要: A circuit and a method for removing a frequency offset and a communication apparatus including the circuit, capable of removing the frequency offset by tracking rapidly and accurately in a payload section. A sequence of sample levels is obtained by sampling a frequency level of the baseband signal at every 0.5 symbol interval. Absolute values of differences between the frequency levels adjacent to each other at every 1 symbol are calculated as first difference absolute values. Absolute values of differences between the frequency levels adjacent to each other at every 1 symbol are calculated as second difference absolute values. When the first difference absolute values are greater than a predetermined first determination value or the second difference absolute values are less than a predetermined second determination value, the average value calculated is set as the frequency offset.

    摘要: A receiver unit of a communication device can employ multiple correlators for decoding the access address of a packet received from another communication device. A dynamically determined primary frequency offset is applied to a phase difference signal that is determined from an RF signal that comprises the packet. For each of a plurality of access address decoding chains of the receiver unit, a secondary frequency offset associated with the access address decoding chain is applied to the phase difference signal, the phase difference signal is correlated with a predetermined access address of the communication device, and a resultant correlation output is compared against a correlation threshold. One of the access address decoding chains that generated the correlation output that is greater than the correlation threshold is selected and the packet is demodulated based, at least in part, on the phase difference signal corresponding to the selected access address decoding chain.
