    摘要: The present invention provides a method for charging control in a Flow Based Charging (FBC) system, which includes the steps of: a Charging Rule Function (CRF) receives a charging rule request message from a Traffic Plane Function (TPF), the CRF sends a charging rule to the TPF. The charging rule includes an indication on whether to perform charging for a service data flow, and if the indication indicates to perform no charging, the service data flow is filtered but no charging information is generated. By applying this invention, operation in the TPF is optimized such that the TPF only needs to perform necessary charging instead of performing charging operation for the service data flow which does not need to be charged. As a result, the load of the TPF is reduced, so is the load of network devices, and system efficiency is improved.

    摘要: A communications device such as a mobile telephone responds to the input of a dialed number for a call destination by generating and outputting a request message transmitted to a control center by a telecommunications system. The device receives a response message from the control center containing routing data and credit data representing remaining credit within an account limit of the subscriber. An outgoing communications session is then initiated using the routing data which may for example enable a dialed telephone number to be modified to achieve optimum routing to the call destination by one or more preferred networks. The device also includes a credit control application for limiting the duration of the communication in accordance with the credit data. Mobile telephones may thereby be used with a prepayment subscription account even during a roaming operation in which the mobile telephone registers with a network other than the subscriber's home network.

    摘要: An effective possibility for making collect calls available is provided by a method for registering and connecting a collect call characterized in that a calling mobile station sends a USSD message concerning a desired collect call with another mobile station to an intelligent network service in a communication network. The service in the communication network sends a text message with an inquiry concerning the transfer of costs for the collect call to the other mobile station. It is then determined by the other mobile station whether there is a willingness there to accept transfer of the costs of the collect call, and the other mobile station will call back the calling mobile station if cost transfer is has been accepted.
