摘要： Secure and simple authentication method and device are provided for accessing a wireless communication network. An access point providing a wireless communication network receives from a device wishing to access the access point's wireless communication network an authentication request that includes a Media Access Control address of the device. The access point receives an incoming call or short message service from a caller, destined to an Internet Protocol telephone attached to the access point. The access point verifies if the MAC address included in the authentication request and the telephone number of the caller correspond to a known MAC address and telephone number. If such correspondence is found, the access point sends an authentication reply indicating successful authentication to the device.

摘要： A method for uploading user identification information from a portable device to a static device using near field communication (NFC) is disclosed. User identification information is stored in the portable device containing a NFC device. The portable device is placed substantially in contact with the static device containing a NFC device such that one of the NFC devices harvests power from the other NFC device. The user identification information is sent from the portable device to the static device using NFC techniques.

An authorized subscriber entity connected to the broker network via a broker is enabled to receive data on a specific identified channel by subscribing to the channel and receive published data on the channel published by an authorized publisher entity. The broker network routes packets of sensor data, on behalf of an entity that is authorized to publish, to any sensor processing application which is an authorized subscriber to the sensor data.
