    摘要: The invention is directed to a valve for a compressed gas cylinder, comprising: a valve body with an inlet, an outlet and a passage connecting the inlet with the outlet; a shut-off device of the passage with an actuating pin extending in the passage; a check-valve between the shut-off device and the inlet, the check valve comprising a seat and a movable closing member initially held at a position distant from the seat by contact with a guiding surface and movable past the position by the pin so as to cooperate with the seat and prevent a refilling flow of gas from the outlet to the inlet. The guiding surface is on a tubular portion fixed to the valve body and comprising at least one radial aperture so as to allow the refilling flow of gas to by-pass the closing member when in the distant position.

    摘要: A valve apparatus is comprised of a solenoid valve, a manual valve, a pressure relief device, a check valve, an excess flow shut-off device, and a temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is arranged inside the tank in an ambient atmosphere. The sealing member is prevented from falling off from the recess by a floating seal structure. The sealing effectiveness is improved by employing a double seal configuration and also by a smooth surface roughness. A high pressure seal structure is presented. The improved pressure relief device design for 75 MPa application has been presented.

    摘要: A valve alarm for use with a valve having an open position, a closed position, and a knob is provided. The valve alarm includes a handle having a knob seat receivable about the knob, and a body defining a volume. The knob seat is carried within the volume and moveable relative the body between an open position and a closed position. A switch is carried by the handle and changed from an Off orientation to an On orientation when the knob seat is moved to the open position, and changed from the On orientation to the Off orientation when the knob seat is moved to the closed position. A timer circuit is coupled to the switch and carried by the handle and includes a time period counted down to zero upon activation by the switch changed to the On orientation. A signaling device is carried by the handle and coupled to the timing circuit for activation upon the timer circuit time period reaching zero.

    摘要: A filling valve for a pressurized fluid container, including a valve body with a longitudinal bore and a side opening formed therein, a sealing assembly slidingly disposed in the valve body, the sealing assembly being formed with a bore therethrough, a valve lever pivotally attached to a portion of the valve body, the sealing assembly including a jutting portion which protrudes in a direction generally away from a bottom portion of the valve body, a float arm attached to the valve lever, and a float mounted on the float arm, wherein when the float is positioned at a generally obtuse angle with respect to a longitudinal axis of the valve body, the jutting portion of the sealing assembly is raised and supported by the valve lever, such that the sealing assembly is raised and does not block the side opening thereby permitting fluid flow through the side opening, and wherein when the float is sufficiently buoyed by a fluid, the float arm swings upwards and the jutting portion of the sealing assembly is no longer supported by the valve lever and the sealing assembly moves downwards and blocks the side opening, thereby preventing fluid flow through the side opening.

    摘要: A pressure regulator utilizing a gauge having rugged internal components. In one embodiment, the gauge has a low profile and is mounted to the regulator body. In another embodiment, the gauge is integral with the regulator body. In one preferred embodiment, the gauge includes a pressure pin and a bias, such as a spring. One side of the pressure pin communicates directly with the source pressure and is urged by the source pressure to move the pressure pin in a first direction, while the other side of the pressure pin is at a known pressure, such as ambient or atmospheric pressure, and is urged by the bias to move the pressure pin in a second direction opposed to the first direction. An indication of the position of the pressure pin is sensed by a user and is used to determine the source pressure or level. In one aspect, the indicator is a pointer or indicator mounted to move in response to movement of the pressure pin and mounted so that its position is visible (i.e., sensed by sight) to the user. In another aspect, the pressure pin is arranged lengthwise inside the regulator and a disc or other shaped indicator is mounted on the end of the pressure pin. A lens is provided such that the edge of the disc (or other indicator) is visible to a user. A calibrated scale indicating the amount of gas in the bottle is provided such that the position of the disc (or other indicator) with respect to the scale will indicate an amount of gas left in the bottle.

To provide such a safety device, which is characterized by a compact structure and a high level of operational reliability, this invention proposes that a valve body (1) incorporates an over-pressure valve (4; 104) of a quick-action shut-off device, a control valve (3; 103) of a pressure-limiting device, and a safety valve (2; 102), whereby the safety valve (2; 102) can be fluidically connected to the over-pressure valve (4; 104) and the control valve (3; 103), and closes either when the over-pressure valve (4; 104) opens due to an inlet pressure that is above the inlet-pressure limit value or when the control valve (3; 103) opens due to an outlet pressure that is above an outlet-pressure limit value.

    摘要: The gas valve assembly includes a housing with a bore and a main valve body and a main valve stem mounted therein. The valve body has a fluid passage fluidly connecting the inlet and one of a housing and valve body outlet with the valve stem mounting a valve seat and being movable for blocking fluid flow through the passage. In two embodiments, the housing is threadable to the neck portion of a vessel for the inlet opening to the vessel interior and the main valve body mounts a manual operated shut off valve extending within the valve body to selectively block fluid flow through the passage and an excess flow valve to block fluid flow through the passage when the flow to the outlet is greater than desired. The last two mentioned valves include a common piston in the fluid passage.
