Abstract:
A cutting machine with clamp assembly includes a saw blade, a worktable, and a clamp assembly. The worktable is adjacent to the saw blade and can move along a processing axis relative to the saw blade. The worktable includes a tabletop facing the saw blade, a processing area set on the tabletop and extending along the processing axis and corresponding to the saw blade, and a chute recessed on the tabletop and extending in the direction of the processing area. The clamp assembly can be operated to move along the chute. The present invention uses the clamp assembly to firmly press against the workpiece, thereby assisting the positioning of the workpiece and ensuring the safety of the user.
Abstract:
A slicing apparatus for slicing food articles includes a food article loading apparatus with a lift tray assembly for moving food articles from a staging position to an elevated position at a beginning of a food article feed path, a food article feed apparatus disposed over the food article loading apparatus having an upper conveyor assembly with an independently driven endless conveyor belt used in cooperation with a food article gripper for moving the food articles along the food article feed path, a food article stop gate that forms part of the food article feed path and opens to drop food article end portions, and a slicing station at an end of the food article feed path with a knife for slicing the food articles.
Abstract:
A food-product slicer that includes a camming arrangement that induces a slicing action as between food-product being cut and a blade set effecting the cutting. In some embodiments, the camming arrangement includes a camming region formed on a food-product pusher, wherein interaction of the food-product with the camming region during a cutting operation induces a slicing action into the food-product. In some embodiments, the camming arrangement includes one or more camming structures, such as slots, and corresponding cam followers to impart slicing action motion into a product pusher, which in turn induces the slicing motion into food product engaged therewith, and/or into a blade set to creating the slicing action.
Abstract:
A food product slicer that includes a blade set and a food-product cradle for supporting a food-product in spaced relation to the blade set. In some embodiments, the cradle is configured to inhibit a user from contacting blades in the blade set in order to prevent injury. In some embodiments, the cradle is incorporated monolithically with a food-product pusher. Food-product cradles of the present disclosure can be enhanced with product-stabilizers that assist in keeping a food-product from moving within the cradles. Food-product cradles of the present disclosure can also be enhanced with side members to created housed cradles. The cradles may be made of fingers spaced from one another to allow the cradles to extend into and/or through the blade set.
Abstract:
A side-loading pendulum slicer for slicing short and/or oddly-shaped food products. The pendulum slicer has an aperture in the upstream side of the product holder through which food products are injected. A loading conveyor holds large numbers of food products that are sequentially and individually loaded onto an injecting conveyor that injects the food products through the aperture and into the product holder. A weight that is raised above the aperture is lowered onto the food product to compress the food product against a thickness tray while the product holder reciprocates through a blade adjacent the thickness tray. Slices are removed from the food product and conveyed away for use.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for cutting a food strand into slices including the steps inserting the food strand in a conveying device, conveying the food strand into a transfer position in a feed device, transferring the food strand through the feed device into a feed position where the food strand is more inclined relative to horizontal than in the transfer position, gripping the food strand at a rear end, feeding the food strand towards a cutting device, cutting the food strand into slices through the cutting device, and fixating the food strand at least during transfer from the transfer position into the feed position at least at one of its free longitudinal sides through at least one fixation element providing a form locking and/or friction locking engagement with the food strand. The invention also relates to a device for performing the method.
Abstract:
An apparatus having a sample sectioning device including a cutting mechanism that is operable to cut sections from a sample and a sample holder that is operable to hold the sample. The apparatus further includes a drive system coupled with the sample holder to drive movement of the sample holder and a reciprocating member coupled to the drive system to drive vertical movement of the drive system. The reciprocating member to move in a reciprocating manner within an angle of rotation of less than 180 degrees. A surface orientation sensor may further be provided that is operable to sense an orientation of a surface of the sample held by the sample holder.
Abstract:
A precision rapid dado tool utilizes a sled and a carrier in order to efficiently create dado joins of varying sizes with a table saw and regular blade. The sled is designed to slide on top of the saw. The carrier rests inside the sled and can slide left and right in the sled in order to allow the workpiece mounted therein to move left and right relative to the sled and the saw blade. A measuring gauge is used to set the width of the dado slot that will be cut into the workpiece. The tool streamlines the cutting of left and right cuts and then the carrier can slide left and right in the sled to remove the center material, and the slot on one workpiece is formed. After repeating on the second piece, the two slots can be joined and the dado is complete.
Abstract:
A device for cutting, using laser beams (B1, B2), a material (A) such as a material for manufacturing sanitary products comprises a supporting formation for the material (A), such as a motor-driven belt, including a net (72) for supporting said material (A) in a position corresponding to the area of cutting where the laser beam (B1, B2) acts. Typically said net is a wire net, e.g., made of steel, bronze or a combination of the two, to which there is preferentially associated a rotary cleaning brushes (9) and suction and/or air jets systems.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus for mounting a stop rule on a machine table of a table saw by means of an adapter. In one embodiment, the adapter includes on one side a clamping bar protruding from a plate for engagement into a longitudinal groove of the stop rule, and on the opposite side means for connection to a clamping element of a rule carrier attached to the machine table. The plate of the adapter carrying the clamping bar is supported between two columns that are fastenable on the rule carrier, and carries on its back side, facing the rule carrier, a vertically adjustable clamping plate for coupling the clamping element of the rule carrier fixedly against the back side of the plate. The clamping plate is connected to the adapter plate via two releasable screws that are vertically adjustable in two vertical elongated holes of the plate.
