摘要: An agricultural implement assembly, which may comprise a support frame and a tine support structure for supporting a plurality of tine members. The assembly may comprise a clamping mechanism operable for securing the tine members to the tine support structure. The clamping mechanism comprises an upper clamping arm, a lower clamping arm and a medial connecting member which are operable to securely hold or otherwise constrain the tine members against or in close proximity to the tine support structure. The clamping mechanism may comprise a tine angled portion engaging component operable to engage an upper surface of the angled end portion of the tine member. The upper and lower clamping arms may comprise at least one upper ridge and at least one lower ridge for engaging in contact with a first portion and a second portion respectively of outward facing surface regions of the tine support structure.

摘要: An adjustable furrow closing assembly that is used to close a seed furrow formed in the soil during a planting operation. The assembly includes a housing that is pivotally coupled to a planting unit. The housing includes an adjustable carrier that pivots within the housing. The adjustable carrier includes first and second closing wheels that are adapted to engage with the soil to close the seed furrow. The assembly also includes a downforce control lever that extends into the housing and is coupled to the adjustable carrier. The housing includes a gate member that including a plurality of slots. The downforce control lever is configured to be moved from one slot to a next slot of the gate to either increase or decrease downforce that is applied to the closing wheels. The slots formed in the gate to allow the gate position to be adjusted with respect to the housing to calibrate downforce on the closing wheels. The furrow closing assembly also includes an adjustment rod that is coupled to the adjustable carrier such that rotation of adjustment rod in a first direction causes movement of the adjustable carrier in a first direction to increase the angle of the closing wheels and rotation of the adjustment rod in a second direction causes movement of the adjustable carrier in a second direction to decrease the angle of the closing wheels.

摘要: A tilling device for tilling ground surfaces, in particular lawn surfaces, comprising at least one machine frame, at least one supporting device which supports the machine frame on the ground, multiple tools which can be lifted and lowered relative to the machine frame and thus can dig into the ground and be pulled out again, and at least one adjusting device which adjusts the distance between the supporting device and the machine frame in the vertical direction in order to adjust the digging depth of the tools into the ground. The adjusting device additionally adjusts the distance between the supporting device and the tools.

摘要: A down pressure adjustment assembly for a disc opener of an agricultural implement includes a rockshaft to which one or more disc opener units are mounted and an actuator that rotates the rockshaft. Rotation of the rockshaft causes the disc opener units to be raised or lowered. When the disc opener units are lowered into a field engagement position, further rotation of the rockshaft will cause compression of down pressure springs for each of the disc opener units.

摘要: A seed planting assembly is provided having a plurality of planting units supported by a tool bar, each of which being operable to form a seed trench in soil, plant seeds in the seed trench, and close the seed trench. Each planting assembly is supported by the tool bar via a mounting assembly that can be actuated by a vertical positioner to raise and lower individual planting units. The vertical positioner is prevented from becoming unintentionally locked during use.

摘要: Locking structure for securing a four-bar linkage or the like on an implement in a raised position to remove an earthworking tool or row unit from ground engagement. An overcenter spring arrangement selectively biases a strap pivotally connected to one arm of the linkage toward or away from a member located on the opposite arm. When the strap is biased toward the member, raising the tool or row unit causes the strap to engage the member to prevent rocking of the linkage and thereby secure the device out of ground contact. Reversing the spring arrangement and raising the device causes the strap to move out of locking engagement with the member for normal operation. An elongated device includes pins for aiding the operator in both moving the over-center spring arrangement between positions and raising the tool or row unit.
