    Abstract: Described herein are technologies for mapping measured weights on wheels of an agricultural implement, such as when the implement moves through a crop field. The technologies include a method including (1) measuring a weight applied to a wheel of the implement at a geographic location of the field, while the implement is moving, (2) matching the geographic location of the field with a position in a map of the field corresponding to the geographic location, and (3) associating the measured weight to the position in the map. In some embodiments, the method includes repeating the aforesaid operations for multiple geographic locations of the field and rendering an image of the map to be displayed in a GUI. In some embodiments, the method includes rendering the image of the map with an image of a yield map of the field or generating a topographic map based on the measured wheel weights.

    Abstract: A system for determining residue coverage of a field includes a LiDAR sensor configured to emit light-based output signals for reflection off of a field surface of a portion of a field and detect reflections of the light-based output signals as return signals. Furthermore, the system includes a soil moisture sensor configured to generate soil moisture sensor data indicative of a soil moisture content of the portion of the field. Additionally, a computing system is configured to receive LiDAR sensor data associated with the return signals detected by the LiDAR sensor. Moreover, the computing system is configured to determine a soil moisture value for the portion of the field based on the soil moisture sensor data. In addition, the computing system is configured to determine a residue coverage value of the portion of the field based on the determined soil moisture value and the LiDAR sensor data.

    Abstract: A system for controlling a hydraulic supply on a mobile machine comprises electronic load sensing and is configured to predictively increase the pump supply pressure PSP following a determination that a hydraulic consumer is about to be actuated. The pump supply is increased irrespective of the reported hydraulic load at the time to meet a predicted hydraulic demand of consumer. The control system may revert to a load-sensing-based control of the pump supply after a given time period or in dependence on a predefined operational parameter being met. A corresponding method of controlling a hydraulic system on a mobile machine is also disclosed.
