Abstract: A heater includes an enclosure, a first baffle plate, and a second baffle plate. The enclosure includes a first wall, a second wall opposite the first wall, and a top plate extending between the first wall and the second wall and cooperating with the first wall and the second wall to at least partially define an interior. The heating module is coupled with the enclosure and is disposed beneath the first baffle plate and the second baffle plate. The heater can additionally or alternatively include an air quality monitoring system and an isolation transformer. The air quality monitoring system includes an air quality controller, at least one air quality sensor, and a power input. The isolation transformer is configured to deliver power from the air quality monitoring system to a fuel system controller of the heating module to facilitate powering thereof.

Abstract: A storage container includes an interior space and a substrate disposed therein, a biological living development material disposed in or on the substrate. The storage container is a sealed capsule to provide an aseptic atmosphere. The substrate is an absorbent material having a water absorption capacity in the dry state of at least 50 g water/cm3. The storage container has two end segments and a tubular middle segment. The substrate and the development material are arranged in the middle segment. At least a first one of the end segments is arranged opposite the middle segment. The substrate and the development material are arranged in the middle segment. At least a second one of the end segments is arranged opposite the middle segment and has a smaller wall thickness than the middle segment, has a wall material that is more thermally, physically, or chemically susceptible to attack than the middle segment, has a predetermined separation point.

Abstract: Methods to produce a spray-dried active tetrahydrocannabinol powder and/or cannabidiol powder are described. The methods include introducing a heated gas and a liquid mixture of water and active tetrahydrocannabinol and/or cannabidiol into a spray dryer and then separating powder from the spray-dryer in a two-step separation process. Counter-current spray dryers and co-current spray dryers are described followed by separation of the powders with a cyclone, filter, electrostatic precipitator, or sifter.

Abstract: To stabilize and improve efficiency of continuous flowering while eliminating season dependency in strawberry cultivation. First, a strawberry seed is germinated by controlling an environment adjusting device installed in a closed environment so as to achieve a first cultivation environment suitable for germination of strawberry. Next, a strawberry seedling germinated is grown by controlling the environment adjusting device so as to achieve a second cultivation environment suitable for growing strawberry seedling. Next, the strawberry seedling is further grown to cause a terminal flower cluster to flower by controlling the environment adjusting device so as to achieve a third cultivation environment suitable for flowering of the terminal flower cluster. Then, first and subsequent axillary flower clusters are caused to successively flower by controlling the environment adjusting device so as to achieve a fourth cultivation environment suitable for flowering of the first and subsequent axillary flower clusters.

Abstract: A combined power conversion and carbon capture and recycling subsystem including a fossil fueled oxidation unit, a physical adsorbent CO2 capture medium, rotor, motor, heater, CO2 compressor, diffuser and water storage tank. Exhaust gas from fossil fuel oxidation is scrubbed of CO2 via passage across a physical adsorbent and then released from the adsorbent via fuel oxidation waste heat. High CO2 concentration scrubber exhaust air is then compressed and fed to a diffuser which facilitates dissociation of the CO2 into water where it is temporarily stored for use in watering plants. Carbon from fossil fuel is recycled back into the environment and permanently stored as biomass by natural means of photosynthesis.

Abstract: This invention relates to a process and apparatus for growing agricultural products with a reduced abundance of radioactive carbon-14 (14C) by employing centrifugal separation of atmospheric gases to selectively remove carbon dioxide (CO2) with 14C. Agricultural products with reduced 14C content can be grown in controlled environments with filtered atmospheric gases for the benefit of reducing harmful damage to human DNA that is unavoidable with our current food chain, due to the natural abundance of 14C in atmospheric gases. Bilateral and unilateral compression helikon vortex apparatus provide efficient and economical removal of CO2 with 14C from atmospheric gases with a single filtration pass, which is ideally suited for large scale agricultural production.

Abstract: An air movement system for plant cultivation. An air conditioner receives a gas mixture of air and carbon dioxide, regulates a temperature of the gas mixture, and outputs the gas mixture at the regulated temperature. A first bladeless fan receives the gas mixture output by the air conditioner and supplies the gas mixture as an air flow to a first crop area at a velocity towards an air intake. At least one second bladeless fan assists the air flow from the first crop area to a second crop area so as to maintain the velocity towards the air intake.

Abstract: A method to grow cannabis is described, wherein the method includes providing and treating a source of water, mixing the water with an additive to form a liquid mixture, transferring the liquid mixture to a plurality of cannabis plants grown in a growing medium including a mycorrhiza fungus, and growing the cannabis using a humidity control method, then harvesting the cannabis plants. Trimming and grinding the cannabis along with use of environmental control methods including temperature, humidity, lighting schedules, and carbon dioxide concentrations are also described.

Abstract: An apparatus for use in indoor agriculture is provided, the apparatus comprising a plurality of elongate supports connected to at least one common manifold. Each elongate support within the plurality of elongate supports comprising: a main body having a first side; at least one inlet in fluid communication with the at least one common manifold; a plurality of outlets; and a channel within and extending along substantially the length of the main body between the at least one inlet and the plurality of outlets. The at least one common manifold is configured to allow gas to flow into the at least one inlets of the plurality of elongate supports, wherein the apparatus is configured such that during use, gas may flow from the common manifold to the at least one inlet of each elongate support within the plurality of elongate supports, through the channel of each elongate support and out of the plurality of outlets of each elongate support, such that a uniform flow of gas is provided adjacent the first side of the main body during use.
