摘要: Disclosed are a pollutant capturer and mobilizer and method of mobilizing a polluted gaseous substance from one location towards another location and capturing one or multiple types of polluting substances, such as CO2, from an atmospheric body of polluted gaseous substance or from exhaust of vehicles, chimneys, or stacks and thereby combat the negative health, environmental, and economic impacts of the of the polluting substances on communities. Wet or dry embodiments of the pollutant capturer and mobilizer utilize wet or dry pollutant capturing components, respectively, to capture one or multiple types of polluting substances from a body of polluted gaseous substance. Flow-establishing devices can be used to set the body of polluted gaseous substance in motion through the pollutant capturing component. The pollutant capturer and mobilizer may also be mounted on any type of vehicle, with or without using flow-establishing devices.

摘要: An exhaust gas treatment apparatus is disclosed. An exhaust gas treatment apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a gas/liquid reactor contacting a treatment liquid and an emission-regulated gas included in exhaust gas, to absorb and remove the emission-regulated gas; a treatment liquid supply tank supplying the treatment liquid to the gas/liquid reactor; and a gas/liquid separation treatment liquid regeneration unit regenerating a waste treatment liquid in which the emission-regulated gas is absorbed, into a treatment liquid in which the emission-regulated gas is not absorbed, and supplying the regenerated treatment liquid to the treatment liquid supply tank, wherein the gas/liquid separation treatment liquid regeneration unit includes a gas/liquid separation membrane through which a gas can pass but a liquid cannot pass.

摘要: A multipurpose pollution reducing-device is shown. The device comprises a tank 1 adapted to be secured with a stand 2 and to store pollution reducing liquid 3 therein. At least one layer of the pebbles 4, constituting a filter layer, is provided inside the tank 1 at the bottom thereof. At least one inlet tube 5 passing through the bottom of the tank 1 is provided for’ allowing entry of the exhaust pollutants into the tank 1. Corresponding perforated inverted tube 6 is provided over the inlet tube 5 such that to discharge exhaust with pollutants near the bottom end of the tank 1. A liquid filling tube 10 is provided at the top end of the tank 1, A liquid level indicator 12 secured to the tank 1 is provided to indicate liquid level present in the tank 1. At least one layer of gauge filer 15 disposed in the tank 1 above the liquid level. An outlet 7 is provided near top end of the tank 1 for facilitating exit of the clean exhaust from the device.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for injecting water during an engine cylinder deactivation event so as to reduce an exhaust catalyst regeneration requirement following the cylinder deactivation. In one example, water is injected at one or more deactivated engine cylinders to reduce oxidation of the exhaust catalyst. Then, during engine cylinder reactivation, a degree of richness of a combustion air-to-fuel ratio may be reduced to decrease fuel penalty to the engine while reducing NOx emission.

摘要: A system for reducing a temperature of an exhaust gas stream of a gas turbine system according to an embodiment includes: a compressor component of a gas turbine system; an airflow generation system for attachment to a rotatable shaft of the gas turbine system, the airflow generation system and the compressor component drawing in an excess flow of air through an air intake section; a mixing area for receiving an exhaust gas stream produced by the gas turbine system; an air extraction system for: extracting at least a portion of the excess flow of air generated by the airflow generation system and the compressor component to provide bypass air; and diverting the bypass air into the mixing area to reduce a temperature of the exhaust gas stream; and a fluid injection system for injecting an atomized fluid into the mixing area to reduce a temperature of the exhaust gas stream.
