摘要: Aerosol delivery devices and aerosol source members are disclosed herein. In one aspect, an aerosol delivery device may comprise a control body having a closed distal end and an open engaging end, a heating member, a control component located within the control body and configured to control the heating member, a power source located within the control body and configured to provide power to the control component, and a removable aerosol source member that includes a substrate portion. The substrate portion may include a continuous heat conductive framework integrated with an aerosol forming material, wherein the continuous thermally conductive framework is configured to enhance heat transfer from the heating member to the aerosol forming material.

摘要: Features relating to a vaporizer body are provided. The vaporizer body may include an outer shell that includes an inner region defined by an outer shell sidewall. A support structure is configured to fit within the inner region of the outer shell. The support structure includes a storage region defined by a top support structure, a bottom support structure, a bottom cap, and a gasket. An integrated board assembly is configured to fit within the storage region of the support structure. The integrated board assembly may include a printed circuit board assembly formed of multiple layers that form a rigid structure and that include an inner, flexible layer. A first antenna is integrated at a proximal end of the flexible layer, and a second antenna is integrated at a distal end of the flexible layer.

摘要: A cartridge for housing an aerosol-forming substrate includes a body with one or more walls having a wall opening; a cavity in the body in fluid communication with the at least one wall opening; and a cap rotatably connected to the body, where the cap is movable between a first position, in which the wall opening is exposed, and a second position, in which the wall opening is closed by the cap. The cap includes electrical connection points to selectively heat a portion of the contents of the cartridge.

The cartridge includes a wireless transceiver positioned proximate a distal end of the cartridge. The wireless transceiver is configured to transmit, receive, and/or store data and to communicate with a subset of remote devices, which may include the vaporizer body and one or more additional devices such as manufacturing, assembly, and filling equipment. The vaporizer body includes wireless communication circuitry that enables communication with remote devices, which may include the cartridge and user devices such as a wireless device. The vaporizer body is configured to identify the cartridge and implement operational instructions and/or apply configuration parameters received from an application and/or based on preset configuration parameters associated with the cartridge.

摘要: A smoking cartridge configured to removably engage with the bowl of a smoking apparatus comprises a receptacle, a sealing member, and an opening that comprises inwardly projecting flaps. The receptacle is configured to contain a smoking material. The sealing member is disposed along the periphery of the receptacle proximal to a lower portion of the receptacle. The sealing member is configured to removably engage and seal with the bowl of the smoking apparatus. The opening is disposed at a bottom of the receptacle, which is defined by inwardly projecting adjustable flaps. The flaps are configured to be adjustably bent to vary the size of the opening.

In various implementations, the aerosol delivery devices comprise a control device that includes a battery, a control component, and an outer housing that defines receiving chamber, and a cartridge that includes a mouthpiece portion, a tank that contains a liquid composition, and a heater configured to heat the liquid composition. The cartridge and the control device each include at least one connector configured to provide a magnetic and an electrical connection between the cartridge and the control device such that the cartridge can be removably and operatively received into the cartridge receiving chamber of the control body, wherein the at least one connector of the cartridge is located on the mouthpiece portion.

摘要: Described is a hookah device. The hookah device includes a unique hookah head and consumable pod. The hookah head includes a bowl portion with a pod recess formed therein to receive a consumable pod. An electronic heating mechanism is positioned within the hookah head for heating the consumable pod. An air pathway is formed through the hookah head to introduce air into the consumable pod and direct smoke from the consumable pod into a hookah body. The consumable pod is similarly formed to fit within the hookah head. Further, the consumable pod includes a pod inlet and pod outlet for directing air through the pod and through the hookah device for inhalation.

In an example implementation, an aerosol delivery device comprises an aerosol source member that defines an outer surface and an interior area and includes a substrate material having an aerosol precursor composition associated therewith, a control body having a housing that is configured to receive the aerosol source member, an electrical energy source coupled with the housing, and a heating assembly operatively connected to the electrical energy source. The heating assembly includes a plurality of spikes that may be configured to articulate between a retracted position, in which the plurality of spikes is not in contact with the aerosol source member, and a heating position, in which the plurality of spikes pierces through the outer surface of the substrate material and into a portion of the interior area thereof.
