    摘要: A descender is for work at height, climbing, mountaineering, speleology or other practices using a rope. The descender device for a textile rope (F) includes a casing in which a cam mechanism (10) and an actuating lever (3) for the cam mechanism (10) are housed. The casing (2) includes a return element (13) for the rope (F). The cam mechanism (10) includes a lever pin (29) rotatably actuated by the actuation lever (3) and a movable cam (25) which is rotatably movable between a deactivation position and a locked position in which the movable cam (25) presses on the rope (F) against the return element (13). The lever pin (29) acts on a rocker member (32) which is integral with the movable cam (25) during a first rotation step of the lever pin (29) in a direction opposite to the activation direction of the movable cam (25).

The airbag module further comprises an actuator assembly configured to pierce open the membrane sealing the container, said actuator assembly comprising a piercing member movably restrained to the body and at least one linear shape memory alloy wire actuator member that is electrically connected to the source of electric current and operably restrained to the piercing member so as to cause it to move beyond the pierceable membrane.

    摘要: One embodiment of the present invention relates to an improved camming stem system including a head member, a plurality of cam lobes, a connection system, and a retraction system. The cam lobes may be selectively rotatable between an extended state and a retracted state with respect to at least one axle of the head member. The connection system may create an elongated, substantially rigid region by intercoupling the head member with a loop. The connection system includes a cord continuously wrapped around the head member and loop. The continuous configuration of the cord around both the head member and the loop creates the necessary minimum tensile strength for operation of the camming system. The cord may be wrapped around a rivet or one or more axles of the head member. Independent regions of the cord may be spliced together to form the continuous configuration.

    摘要: A quick-lock-quick-release device for attaching a boot to a foot plate which doubles as an ice crampon or mounting plate for an alloy snowshoe is provided. The lock-release foot plate design is such that it can readily be adjusted for any size of boot by simply moving the lock-release lever on the foot plate. This design also lends itself to the use of the Arctic vapor barrier boots used by the military. In addition, three crampon designs are included as well as a quick release mechanism for attachment/detachment of the foot plate to/from the snowshoe without the necessity of tools. An articulated foot plate for use with an alloy snowshoe for running in snow is also shown. The articulated foot plate consists of two pieces, a toe portion and a heel portion, which are hinged together around the pivot pin to allow for flexing of the sole of the wearer's shoe during running.
